The room did not match the photo at all! The price was exorbitant! The center of the bed had a huge dip and the mattress was not comfortable. The linens were stained; the wall paper peeling, the rug looked like a crime scene, the fake wood furniture's laminate was peeling. The lighting was horribly dim. We were at the end...

This mid-market establishment is very well located - opposite the main entrance of the Gare du Nord (50 metres away). The hotel itself is average in terms of specification but very good value relative to high-cost Paris. The rooms are rather small and some could benefit from redecoration. On balance this is a good overnight stop, particularly if you have...

I booked this hotel as I brought my boyfriend to Paris for the Six Nations match, we had a couple of days in Paris and wanted to make the most of our time there. We got the Eurostar from England and this hotel is literally right across the road from the station - it couldn't have been more perfect. Such...

The rooms look bigger in the pictures but actually they are so tiny. I also give 4 stars because something i don't accept is that when I ask for something and I am told: "Yes made we will bring it to you in few min", I am expecting that thing. I had asked for glasses If I remember well and...

Stayed here for four nights at the end of a solo journey throughout parts of Europe. Had hoped that there would be a bar-fridge as stays in previous Mecure accommodation in Australia had such. There appeared to be a space for one, however one was not there. The TV was old and couldn't connect up to modern technology. Only one...

We made a return to this hotel as it is so convenient for the Eurostar terminal. Having been unimpressed in August we weren't expecting much, but it took about 15 minutes to check in - total chaos. Eventually we were allocated a room which we had difficulty finding among the maze like corridors. Room at last located we entered only...

The hotel is located opposite the Gare du Nord Rue de Dunkerque entrance and is very convenient as a base for visiting Paris or if you have to catch a long distance train from Gare du Nord. I had selected the Mercure, during this stay as I was getting a good deal on Le Club Accor as against the adjacent...

We picked the hotel on the basis that it was a four star hotel under 100 EUR just where we needed to be. The location is great if you're catching the Eurostar - directly opposite the main entrance of Gare du Nord. The reception area has obviously been refurbished as it's light and bright but other areas of the hotel...
