This hotel is exceptionally good value. The location is not right in the center, but the area is nice and friendly, with a very Parisian vibe and a lovely market right outside. We had a family room which was small but functional. Nice and friendly staff and great for travelling with kids as they have highchairs and other equipment for...

Spent a week here in March, 2013. The staff at the hotel was very nice and most helpful. The rooms were very clean, nice but are rather small, tight. They were serviced daily. Breakfast was a bit pricy so we skipped it - to many good foods on the street. Great street market twice a week next to hotel. Close...

This hotel is not centrally located in Paris, but it's in a beautiful area, and it's only a short walk from the metro, which makes it perfect to go about in the city. What we liked most of its location is that you can see the "real", non-touristy Paris, and it's surrounded by incredible restaurants and cafes. The rooms are...

We stayed at the Agate Hotel on Rue de Vincennes for 7 nights and loved it! We were thrilled to see that we had a room in the front of the hotel (on the 6th floor) which had a balcony. We were even MORE thrilled to see the Eiffel Tower in the distance when we stepped out on our balcony!...

They are friendly and pleasant in the deal, staff speak English, did the checkin at 23:30 smoothly. The rooms are small and the bathroom, but well for Paris, which in most cases are very small and dirty, has very good communication (metro and RER Nation) 100 meters from the hotel and spend 4 bus lines. It has Wifi in the...

Perhaps not as central as some hotels, this is still very convenient. It is very close to the Nation metro and its multiple lines. The area has lots of restaurants and stores; including a Monoprix around the corner. The rooms are clean and attractive and the breakfast buffet is a good value. I found the staff to be kind and...

The room and bathroom were small but this was an excellent hotel: clean, modernised and tidy Staff were courteous and welcoming. Despite the busy street and market, no sound got through the double-glazed windows. Really good value for money. The breakfast was not up to the same standard. Coffee much too strong and tepid. The spread gives great choice but...

My son and I toured Paris for 5 days and stayed at the Agate Hotel. We had a great experience. It was always clean, the staff was wonderful, and the room was perfect for our needs. We ate the breakfast the last day and it was very good. The location is away from most of the sights but with the...

We stayed there on August 2010 for 6 nights and had standard double room on 4th or 5th floor facing street. There was a French balcony and from window you could see a little bit of Eiffel Towers top. Nearest metro station (Nation) was very close (200 meter) and the most important metro trains for a tourist stopped there. Room...

My wife and I recently stayed at the Agate Hotel in Paris for seven nights. We found the hotel to be located just a short walk from a Metro station making it a very convenient location for the sights of Paris. Around the hotel are lots of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and cafes so one need never go hungry. There is...
