We are just back from a four night stay at the Hotel Agenor, and we found it to be a great little place and a good value. Yes the rooms are small, but really, it's Paris so why hang around a hotel room. The beds and furnishings are good quality and new. Reasonably firm mattress. Everything was very clean and...

We (me+wife) stayed at this hotel for 4 nights this autumn, and tried to choose the best value for money. Our room, 41 (on the top floor) was ready for us, however the window curtain was hanging on a thread and at first i really thought it's gonna fall on my head if i try to open the window. Luckily...

We spent five nights at the Hotel Agenor and it was a great base to explore Paris. Warm smiling welcome from very helpful reception staff who were wonderful helping us to plan each day. Close to transport, great bars and cafes nearby, excellent value for money. We ate breakfast at nearby bars along with the locals. Great!

Paris was my second destination with my boyfriend for our europe trip. This hotel has small but rather clean and nice rooms, the bathrooms are nice as well but also small. However, there were some issues upon arriving there. 1, our hotel room wasn't ready for us when we arrived (and we came way past check-in time), so the person...

Opted for this hotel because of its proximity to Montparnesse station and lots of cafe and eating out places with different cuisine all in walking distance. Since the station was really close, I could take metro to virtually anywhere in the city. It wasn't difficult to find and had decent room for the price charged. Person at the reception became...

I stayed at this hotel with my Aunt for five days. The location was perfect- close to the train station, places to eat, bakeries, cafes, shops, at the Metro. We walked to the Eiffel Tower the first day, though that was quite a hike there and back. For later trips to Paris central, we could get there in 10-15 minutes...

For Paris is the Price/Value rate good. Very smal rooms. Simple Breakfast with industrial products. Around the a hotel some nice bars. Tip: No spaces for cars around. You will get a Ticket very fast for wrong parking.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Montparnesse station and price. We only stayed one night as we were catching the train to the west coast of France. It meet both these criteria well. It was about a five minute walk from where the airport bus dropped us at Montparnesse station. The room was clean, with a newly...

Hotel Agenor (Montparness) - After spending 5 nights at this hotel, I'm on the fence as to whether I would recommend it to anyone. If you're thinking about staying here, set your expectation bar on the lowest setting and you might not be disappointed. Extremely small room. Bed is old and tired. Carpet is desperate need of cleaning. Grout in...

To make a long story short, we needed to adjust our reservation, shortening from 4 to 2. Since the initial booking was through booking.com, we were instructed by the hotel to cancel the entire booking and rebook only the nights we needed. Did not work, emails to Agenor saying such (and showing concern as for a short while, we were...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.

“Only sixteen rooms and if you look at the map rooms #104, 204, 304 and 404 are a little bigger, at the back, and have a tub/shower combo instead of a stand in shower.”

“The stairs are awful and the elevator is meant for one person+bag or 2 kids, or a coulpe who is comfortable with hugs in the elev. So i suggest u either take the 1st-2nd floor rooms or then on the very top (4th floor). My room on the south-west side and it was sunny, but there isnt much to be seen since there is a 9-storey building just across the hotel.”

“We were given a 4th floor room with windows opening on to a quiet side street. Reception gave us a quiet fan to keep the air moving on a stifling hot night. We slept happily and safely with the windows open.”
