Nestled in the heart of Paris, the Grand Hotel Du Palais Royal garners high praise for its exceptional service, with staff members lauded for their attentiveness and professionalism. Guests consistently commend the cleanliness of both rooms and facilities, and the hotel's central location near the Louvre is frequently celebrated.
While the hotel's amenities contribute to a luxurious experience, some guests find the accommodations pricey, particularly in regards to minibar items. The atmosphere is described as elegantly luxurious with upscale decor, although a few guests note the rooms can be somewhat compact.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed in three hotels during our recent Paris visit and, by a country mile, the Palais Royal was the best, although the most expensive.
Everything was perfect. The style was Modern yet charming. We had a junior suite with balcony views over the Eiffel Tower. The room wasn’t big, but it felt lovely.
We were greeted with a glass of champagne - delicious! And, if we returned weary from over doing site seeing, our spirits were lifted by a further glass. superb guest relations!
Breakfast was very good, fresh produce and huge variety.
Christopher from Concierge was outstanding with his help. And a special shout out to Receptionist Farid, who was very friendly and personable. Farid was a class act with a v genuine smile.
Def recommend this hotel. The best.

We traveled to Paris for the weekend, and wanted to maximize the number of museums and other cultural sites we could see. The Grand Hotel du Palais Royal was an excellent choice, from start to finish.
There are two reasons to recommend this hotel: First, it's a stone's throw away from the Louvre (and thus the river), and a fairly short walk from many other sites and interesting neighborhoods. We easily walked to and from the Marais district, for instance. We also walked south to a variety of shops and galleries.
But beyond the location, the hotel really lived up to its name when it comes to service: The staff was, without exception, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about what to do and how to do it. I want to particularly point out the phenomenal concierge, who knew about current museums and exhibits, including what is and isn't currently open. He arranged tickets at a jazz club and restaurant reservations for us, as well.
Our room wasn't tiny, but it wasn't huge — but our aim wasn't to stay in the room, but rather to explore adjoining areas of Paris. The fact that the hotel adjoins a small, one-way street and a courtyard makes it extremely quiet.
We had the breakfast buffet one morning, and it was more than satisfying to the two of us, even with our restrictions as vegetarians. The service and food quality was top-notch, as expected. However, the price (50 euros/person) was a bit steep — so we had breakfast one morning, and bought bread, cheese, and vegetables at a local supermarket the next day. There are so many nearby bakeries and markets that this was not an issue at all.
The "tea room," a nook in the basement where you can get tea and small snacks 24 hours a day, was a very nice touch. The exercise room and hamam both seemed quite good, but we were so busy going out that we didn't have a chance to enjoy them.
All in all, we're delighted with our decision to stay at this hotel, and recommend it highly to others.

Dear ReuvenLerner, Thank you so much for this wonderful and detailed feedback you have provided ! As it shows with the amount of feedbacks you have shared on this platform, we can say you travelled the world and you are an avid traveller having a thorough experience regarding the hospitality ! We are pleased you have mentioned the location as well as the peace you can find in our parisian rooms. Thank you especially for sharing your satisfaction about our friendly, helpful and knowlegeable team, they are the heart of the property ! We are always trying to meet our guests' expectations in regards to their dietary preferences and I am glad your vegetarian needs were met. However, please be informed that our buffet is at 36 Euros per person and you did enjoy some of our extras this is why you paid 50 Euros per person as you mentioned. Thank you again for taking the time to express your feelings about your stay and we sincerely hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again for your next parisian visit. Warm regards, Majbritt Iaconis General Manager

This was a surprise 60th birthday trip for my lovely husband. The hotel was wonderful. They had truly thought of everything! Wonderful robes and slippers, lovely comfy beds, everyone was warm and friendly and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.
The hotel is centrally located so you can walk everywhere. Located right behind the Louvre and beside the Palais Royal Gardens, the buzz of the city is only steps away, but once you walk in the doors of the hotel you are blanketed in sanctuary.

The location is magnificent. The renovation is excellent. Housekeeping was very good. Now for the negatives: The price is sky high for small rooms. The breakfast was mediocre for a 5 star hotel--and they always try to suggest omelettes, which I think adds a surcharge. For hours after midnight, you could hear what appeared to be loud walking sounds from the room above. On checkout, the taxi the hotel arranged charged 62 euros to go to CDG Airport. It seems that was a 5 euro extra charge. For who?

Dear john23, Thank you very much for taking the time to express your feelings about your stay with us. We are pleased our location was convenient and that our Housekeeping team was very good. On the other hand, we are saddened that your experience was not an overall success. This is our breakfast team goal to ensure our guests know all the options they have for their breakfast leaving you with the choice to enjoy our omelettes or not however we would be interest to know your suggestions in order for us to improve our buffet. We are sorry to know you were disrupted by the guests staying in the room above yours. Have you called our frontdesk team to assist you with this matter ? Our guests' comfort is our priority and I am sure our team would have find a solution. The taxi fares to the airports are regulated by law, have you asked the driver why he charged you more ? Please be informed that the hotel has no partnership with taxis and does not benefit from any price difference. We sincerely hope we will have the opportunity to offer you a more positive experience among us, Best regards, Majbritt Iaconis General Manager

We spend a night with my wife at the Grand Hotel du Palais Royal.
The location is just great between the Louvre, Palais Royal, close to the Opera.
There is a taxi station a few meters away as well as a metro station.
The building is very nice overlooking Palais Royal place and a private courtyard.
The area is very calm.
When the weather is nice you can have a drink or your breakfast outside in the courtyard.
The employees are all very nice, very attentive and discrete. They are aware of your specific request without having to remind it.
The welcome is very nice in a cozy lobby and we had the chance to be offered a glass of Champagne.
The room we had was great on the 6th-7th floor: suite Palais Royal. You climb some stairs to the upper level where you find a nice bedroom with a very large bed, a Bluetooth speaker and some beautiful books on design, paris, ….
The bathroom is large with marble walls a bathtub and a shower. Products are from the famous Dyptique brand.
Then we have the living room with sofa, table, armchair a window with a view on Sacré Coeur, the Opera,…
And last but not least a terrace overlooking Palais Royal, the Louvre and a view on the Eiffel Tower. The sunset on Paris was stunning especially when sipping a drink before going out for lunch. The street below is a small street with limited traffic and therefore we’re calm.
Everything was perfect. We felt like at home. The flower decoration in the lobby and bedroom is exquisite.
I strongly recommend Grand Hotel du Palais Royal.

The room was gorgeous, and had the comfiest pillows I've ever slept on, we had breakfast come to our room every morning for no extra charge. The location is second to none, even though it's in a buzzy area, it's just off the main street, so very peaceful, and you're moments from a metro. What really set this apart, for me, was the service, it was the best I've experienced, nothing was a hassle for them. Absolutely loved staying there, and would love to go back one day.

Amazing customer service, the hotel is doing a fabulous job at keeping staff happy and it showed!!! The amazing service started from the time I reached out by email to book this hotel with Eve and Melanie. They could not be more helpful in answering my questions and replying very quickly.
We booked a family/connecting rooms that consisted of a single door that opened to a small hallway where we had room 211-212. Very private and the kids loved having their own room. We could prop the door open so we could still hear them but had total privacy as well. I was nervous about the superior rooms being too small after reading some reviews, however they were bigger than expected and gorgeous! Our room had windows that looked on to the courtyard where I had fun seeing people take photo ops for their "emily in paris" imitation. Rooms were extremely clean, beds/linens/pillows were so comfortable we all had the best sleeps!
The concierge were very helpful, standout being the service I received from Germain...he went above and beyond and was not bothered by my requests for dinner and indecisiveness. Restaurant recommendations were great, and he also booked us skip the line tickets for the Arc which was very helpful. I also appreciated Suzanne the manager reaching out wanting my feedback directly and we would communicate by messenger. You could tell everyone cared about making your trip and stay the best it could possibly be.
Breakfast was included in the rate, overall good choices but my only recommendation would be to add perhaps pancakes, fresh berries and bran cereal but really it was quiet, unrushed and great service in the restaurant.
Location was amazing and although close to the Louvre we found the hotel situated in a quiet sanctuary away from the hustle and buzz of the crowds. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend to anyone!

Architecture and decoration are impressive! The staff was truly helpful, my friend was sick so we were requesting for water, toiletries, towels, rooms service etc during night time and we always received within a few minutes. The hot choices for breakfast were limited and charged extra even when the breakfast was included in the rooms rate. I would love to revisit!

The hotel is situated 2 minutes from the entrance of the Louvre, and very close by to the Opera Guarnier.
It is located in a vintage building but the interior and amenities are 21 Century. Rooms are roomy by European standards and the staff is super helpful and friendly.
When I checked in, the desk clerk took one look at my cane and said " we have assigned you a room close to the elevator as you requested. The room has a shower in a tub. We can offer you a room with a walk-in shower, also close to the elevator if you prefer"
The concierge was also very helpful and followed up. "how was the restaurant ?last night"
