Hotel Mistral provided us with a wonderful base to explore the beautiful city of Paris! The staff, from the moment we arrived were very welcoming and extremely helpful. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed, wifi access was terrific and the breakfast was amazing! Easy access to the metro. Thank you Hotel Mistral - we will be back!...

We had a very lovely stay, welcoming staff and location was great! Just outside the busy center but close enough to get there quick on a Velib' or metro! We didn't use the breakfast because we wanted to have it in the city, but it looked great!

We chose this hotel for a brief stopover in Paris, on our way to Bordeaux and the Dordogne. We were pleased with the room, which had air-conditioning and Wi-Fi which both worked well. The staff were gracious and accommodating, and offered to chill our wine and provided space and snacks for a small pre-dinner visit with our friends who live...

my wife and I went to paris for our 20th anniversary and stayed in the same little hotel we had so much enjoyed in our visit to this lovely city before our marriage. It was renovated and redocarated but has not lost its cozy and warm charm. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful, breakfast is great, and the location...

The staff there was always willing to help us in any information needed. The hotel is very central, there is a metro station in the near. But the room was too small from my point of view, but I think quality price was good.

An absolutely perfect hotel. Very friendly and fast check in. A big plus for all the information about the hotel and even Paris. Here you feel welcome. Everything was in the room might be needed! Quiet location in the room to the garden! Can not get any better !! Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Tucked away down a little side street, away from the hustle and bustle of Parisian life this hotel was perfect. This hotel knows how to make guests relax and enjoy their stay. The staff were very attentive, very friendly and spoke good English. And when you want or need some of that hustle and bustle you're only a few minutes...

This was over priced for small room assigned. Plus they charge for breakfast. I moved to large Pullman hotel in same area and was much more satisfied after this hotel. Young man, "Roman," on front desk was very nice. The young woman at desk seemed impatient when I needed directions. Maybe she was "overworked" at the time. (?)

The hotel is positioned well for the Montparnesse train station. We walked to it from Hotel Minstral. The staff were very friendly and helpful. While our room was small, we weren't surprised (because of being in Europe) or inconvenienced with this. The room was very clean and well appointed. The hotel has a lift. As an option, you can have...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
