Hotel location is excellent, very close to subway station and Notre-Dame cathedral. My first bedroom there was a regular double-room, kind of small and with street view which made it a noisy room. Since the air conditioner and hot water weren't working hotel staff moved me to a triple room on the inner side of the building. What an improvement!...

Very near to metro and RER, verybeasy to get to/from airport CDG. Close to notre dame, restaurants and shops. Room was a bit small but still value for money. You can walk to lourve and along river seine. Many restaurants around the hotel and souvenir shops offers great deals.

This is a great [lace, the rooms are nice and service good, do not stay on street side as noise can be bit loud, but in the back anf up a few floors great. Ernest Hemingway lived at this hotel, and would drink at their bar. Highly recommend for a off beat cheaper place. It has been a few years,...

We expected the small room, it was comfortable enough and the location was superb. The lady at check in (either owner or supervisor) was condescending, and refused to give change for their own vending machine ...?! Be aware, the lift is very small and slow - as is the internet connection. Staff were very accommodating otherwise - they had us...

I reserved a room with three twin beds and that's what I got. The room was tiny. We traveled with only small daypacks sufficient for a two night side trip stay. There was a small half-closet where we kept our daypacks and hung our coats. If we had brought full-size suitcases, I don't know where we would have put them....

A two star hotel, if you go there expecting more you'll be disappointed. Yes the rooms are small & basic, but we found them to be clean. The bathroom was small, but the shower was more than adequate. The hotel's location is superb, at the heart of the Latin Quarter & just a short walk from Notre Dame. Our only...

Hotel room for 3 was adequate, back of building and very quiet. As is to be expected in old buildings room was very small and ensuite, though clean was minute. Desk staff not so adequate and lift very unreliable. I would reconsider staying there if anyne in your party had difficulty climbing stairs as staircase very narrow and steep. No...

Location is great on rue de la Huchette. Jazz bar "Caveau de la Huchette" is within 2 minute walk if you are into jazz (and dancing). Located at the limit of the quartier latin in a hot spot for tourist. Restaurants are plenty, 5 min. from Notre Dame, la Seine and within walking distance from the Louvre. Personnel is mildly...

We stayed here for two nights in early July.I lost something valuable in the room. I tried to call the hotel but no one pick up then I sent two emails to them but still no one replied me. I was totally disappointed and I can't accept the way they treat customers. Please stay away this hotel !!!

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
