We (3 senior ladies) chose this hotel based on location (Excellent), Price (I guess you get what you pay for and that was reasonable considering Paris prices) and the fact that we were able to get 3 single rooms with private facilities. Based on previous reviews we requested rooms at the rear of the hotel to avoid the street noise...

Very friendly staff, ideal central Paris location in a hotel stepped in history. The beds aren't the most comfortable and the breakfast isn't great but must say that this is outstanding value for money I would certainly stay in those hotel again albeit if I wanted pure luxury this wouldn't be my hotel of choice.

Found the hotel to be in in a great location next to Saint Michael metro station, around the corner from Notre Dame cathedral. However the rooms were extremely basic although quite clean. Elevator was tiny as was the shower in the twin room we had.

Great hotel..simple but clean and right in the heart of the latin quarter....short walk to notre dame and the louvre. Walkable in 45 mins from gare du nord. Would recommend to all. Vibrant area with good restaurants aplenty .

A two star hotel but with a nice degree of charm in a fabulous location. Very clean, warm in the cold winter, and with very helpful reception staff. Bathrooms small but efficient with all mod- cons. No conditioner supplied and no room safe were the only real drawbacks I can find. Lovely old lift in an nice old building. Right...

Location is very central and convenient. It's definitely not amazing but you have all you need. I took the smallest room for one person with a tiny bed, tiny room, and bathroom in the tiny space. Hot water worked fine, room was warm enough, and there was even a TV and phone. It's very convenient to come from the airport...

Good location, for sure. Surrounded by great restaurants, great zone to take a nice and a little chaotic (in a good way!) walk. If you wish to sleep in a quiet zone... this is not the case. Here people stay up till morning, but if you are like me, and you don't mind a little bit of chaos once in...

When we booked we weren't expecting the Ritz due to the price we paid. The hotel was clean and basic but the location is perfection. The hotel is in a busy pedestrianised street in the Latin quarter. Within 2 minutes you are in st Michel metro and 5 minutes from Notre Dame and the RER. If you are just looking...

This hotel is conveniently located for a sight seeing trip to the wonderful city of Paris. five walk from Notre Dame and half an hour from many other attractions. The room thought small was just the ticket clean and quiet after a busy day sight seeing. The evening meal was average but the waiters were fun and the location offered...

Stayed here last weekend in October 2014 for 3 nights. Stay was pleasant although we only slept here. We didn't spend any time in the hotel for breakfast/dinner etc! Good hotel to stay in if your sightseeing, we had left the hotel at 8am every morning and didn't return until late at night! 5 min walk from Notre Dame and...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
