Stayed for 3 nights, no problems whatsoever. Quiet location but one block from cafes and stores and a few short blocks from the Metro Station. About 2 km from Gare du Nord from which you can take the RER train to/from CDG airport for 9.5 Euros. Clean, interior renovated, nicely furnished. Typical adequate hotel room size for Paris. Helpful, friendly...

Placed very closed to metro station Blanche (2nd metro line) into the near vicinity of the famous Moulin Rouge this hotel was a perfect choice for us. Even Montmartre look noisy this hotel is located on a quiet street. It's a typical boutique hotel very clean with friendly staff. We've booked a superior double room and the space was enough....

Off on a less trafficked road and in the heart of Montmartre, the Relais Montmartre is surprisingly quiet and offers its guests a real refuge after a day of climbing up and down the hill. If your interested in discovering this area of Paris, with assurance you can depend on this hotel for its central location, access to good restaurants...

The Hotel is very well located in the Montmartre area. Only a couple of minutes away from all the hassle at place du Tertre and Sacré Coeur, situated in a quiet street, only one minute to the next metro stop. Altough we arrived at 10:30 am, the room was ready. The Deluxe Room was nicely furnished and spotless clean, with...

An excellent small hotel, close to public transport and the interesting area of Montmartre. We had a small room but it was very comfortable indeed. Very good welcome We didn't have breakfast - would highly recommend 'Coquelicot' in the Place des Abbesses. However, breakfast in the hotel might be a good idea on Sundays, when the local cafes / boulangeries...

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Room was a bit small but very clean. Very good location about 100 meters from Blanche metro station. Moulin rouge just around the corner and Montmartre within walking distance takes about 10 minutes. Just one little thing, at the morning go out for breakfast. You will find better and cheaper bistro in the neighbourhood.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Le Relias Montmartre. The price was reasonable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beautiful. Not much of a view, but good enough. Metro is very close. We honestly couldn't find a bad meal in the area. I have the location at 4 because, now having seen many...

My wife and I spend 5 nights here during the first week of April 2013, and it was very nice. If you are looking for a quiet street in Paris, up in the village of Montmarte, select this hotel. During our stay we noticed guests comprised of: couples, families, businessmen, and singles. While the location was off the beaten path,...

My sister and I stayed here for 3 nights in March. Being my third visit to Paris, I hadn't stayed in Montmartre before, and was extremely glad I chose this hotel! Situated on a very quiet street just off Rue Lepic, you are only a few minute's walk from the Metro, Moulin Rouge, restaurants, and shops. Place du Tertre and...

The hotel is located on a very quiet street, but near lively streets of Montmartre with nice restaurants and bars, and close to the metro station. Hotel was clean and looked recently renovated. Our room was rather small, but nicely decorated. Staff was really friendly. We didn't try the breakfast there, since there were plenty of cafes nearby to explore....

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
