I've stayed in this hotel before on my trips to Paris because it is cheap and close to everywhere I need to go, but it has gone drastically down hill. The rooms were recently renovated and while small serve their purpose as I am rarely...More
It’s a two-star hotel, with small rooms, basic equipment, small bathroom. If you need a place to sleep and shower, it is good enough, especially since it is on great location, close to metro. The staff is very friendly, wifi works very good. The negative:...More
Since there are a lot to do in Paris, we just wanted a clean place to sleep and shower, while explore the city. Basically just a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. We didn't get either.

France > Ile-de-France > Paris > Bastille / Oberkampf / République
Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s at night this area really comes to life. Students and young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait for coveted tickets during the day. Towards
Republique, skateboarders practice their tricks while others chill out at the square. If you’re looking for late-night revelry, this is your neighbourhood.

Hello. I wish you a safe and pleasant trip. The hotel is not "close" to the airport. However, it is very easily and economically accessible by train. From CDG airport, take the train (called RER), line B. The airport train station is conveniently located in Terminal 2. The ticket costs 10 euros. Get off the train in Gare du Nord station. There, follow the signs to Metro line #5. Use the same train ticket. Take Metro #5 heading to Place Italie. After 4 stops get off the metro at Oberkampf station. The Hotel is located exactly next to the Oberkampf metro station. The train ride takes 25 minutes and the Metro ride takes 10 minutes.
