I have dinged the rating of this nice clean tidy hotel, because is not quite as described.
If you have a lot of luggage, or are very tall, do not even think about it. The room is a bit bigger than their two person elevator....More
Friendly reception. Clean but small room, unfortunately were there on a heatwave with no air conditioning or ventilation. We had a great view on the road and the nearby square. Ask the reception for a nearby parking. Perfect location with many places to go out.
Stayed here for 4 nights as two couples. the rooms are let's say compact, but the beds are comfortable and the windows actually work as windows. The lift whilst small is fully functional. Whilst breakfast is available in the hotel, there are cheaper options within...More

Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s at night this area really comes to life. Students and young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait for coveted tickets during the day. Towards
Republique, skateboarders practice their tricks while others chill out at the square. If you’re looking for late-night revelry, this is your neighbourhood.

Hello. I wish you a safe and pleasant trip. The hotel is not "close" to the airport. However, it is very easily and economically accessible by train. From CDG airport, take the train (called RER), line B. The airport train station is conveniently located in Terminal 2. The ticket costs 10 euros. Get off the train in Gare du Nord station. There, follow the signs to Metro line #5. Use the same train ticket. Take Metro #5 heading to Place Italie. After 4 stops get off the metro at Oberkampf station. The Hotel is located exactly next to the Oberkampf metro station. The train ride takes 25 minutes and the Metro ride takes 10 minutes.
