Excellent stay, the Concierge was excellent, room was excellent, location was excellent, staff excellent, breakfast excellent. The Hotel is based around the Cadet area and everywhere you need to go is within 30 minutes walk so the location is ideal for people who don't want to use public transport, although we did get a 2 day hop on hop off...

I have never stayed here before, but certainly would again. A lovely room with artistic decor, overlooking a traditional inner courtyard Parisian rooftops. A shiny clean shower-room, with more space than at most Paris hotels. And excellent, friendly staff. Good location in the 9e arrondissement. Very good value - highly recommended.

This is a quirky, attractive and comfortable boutique hotel, very well located within walking distance of Gare du Nord station. When we checked in the rooms weren't ready as we were early and the receptionist made us a coffee and was very welcoming. The room was small but very clean and had everything you need in it. The bed was...

My wife and I stayed here for three night and I can't speak highly enough of the staff! The hotel is a 10 minute, €7 taxi ride from Gard Du Nord. On arrival we were greeted by Remy who was very helpful and explained everything about the amenities of the hotel and the "honesty" bar. He also gave us maps...

We stayed at the hotel for three nights in January 2017. The hotel staff are friendly and keen to help, arranging taxis and tours upon request. On one occasion the weather took a turn for the worst and a member of staff was awaiting us at the front desk with an umbrella. He then proceeded to open it for us...

Booked hotel after reading other positive reviews and glad we did! The hotel and room were lovely and comfortable, and the location was ideal, right round the corner from the metro station. Also an easy walk from gare du nord if arriving by train from CDG airport. The other feature we really appreciated was the free use of a phone...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

“We stayed on the 4th floor looking over the main entrance. Hotel sits on a side street with a regular flow of traffic but with the windows closed it was not a problem. We were able to keep the windows open most of the night and only close them when the traffic got a bit busier in the morning. ”
