The rooms are not very good concerning the facilities. The reception is kind and helpful. The area is not something special but just 5 minutes away to Montmartre is and add. Comparing to the prices of the accommodation in Paris is good option for low budgets and near to the metro .

This is the 3rd time I've stayed at Hotel Vintimille. Although it's only a 2 star hotel, the beds are extremely comfy and the rooms are always clean (the room sizes vary significantly it seems as all 3 twin rooms I've had have been wildly different). The hotel is located right next to the centre of Place de Clichy -...

I make a complaint ans they did change my room. Unfortunately, on the 3 rd day the cleaning lady tried to force one of my luggage, though it was lock. I had to...

We stayed at Hotel Vintimille for four nights and were pretty satisfied with it. The best thing about this hotel is the location. You can talk five minutes to the Metro and easily get to the main tourist destinations in Paris. On our first night, we walked to the Sacre Coeur within 20 minutes, passing through the amusing red light...

I had the displeasure of staying in this hotel for 6 nights. Positive: the reception is open 24/7. There is a Carrefour at the end of the street. Not too far from Gare du Nord and Gare Saint-Lazare, also some metro stations nearby. Free WIFI. Negative: the rooms are carpeted, and they smell. You can even feel the damp if...

Cheap Hotel So don't expect to much. Paid about £35 a night. Run down room with Queen size bed. Clean thou didn't vaccum whilst we were there. Shower powerful thou there was mould around the tiles. Location was great. Out of centre a bit on side road so there was no noise at night. 2 mins to Place de Clichy...

When I'm paying for a cheap hotel I expect few things. Electricity, running water, cleanliness, and the bed I booked. I got 1 of those things. On arrival we discovered our room contained 2 single beds (booking was for a queen) and the carpet could have used a vacuum. Settled in for the night to discover that with no air...

Nothing to talk about. Just a place to sleep, cheap, average clean, bad food, good places to visit outside hotel. Not the best neighbourhood. close to metro (like all paris hotels). Normal cheap place to sleep in.

I booked a room in this hotel as I was spending the night in Paris for a music concert and didn't want to spend too much money for a room close to St Lazare station (I had to catch the first train to go to work the next morning). Considering how much I paid, I knew I wouldn't get the...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
