Situated less than 500 m from the Strasbour St. Denis Metro and just over 1 km from Louvre and the Tuilleries, this is an excellent hotel to stay in if you want to see Paris. Staff is extremely friendly, the Wifi works like a charm and the beds are quite comfortable. Granted, the hotel is a bit on the run-down...

Central building, easy to find it, near metropilitan, in centre of city. Very well hotel for 3 or 4 days of holidays. You can find gentle peaple and cleaned rooms, there are only a little thing: rooms have littlest bathroom that i have ever see.

Loved this place! Right in the middle of Paris Fashion District it was conveniently located next to tons of stores and restaurants. The hotel is a 3 star for its tiny bathroom and room and super tiny elevator but I gave it a 4 star for its location. It's antiquely furnished and walls are decorated with fabric wallpaper but the...

we spent 2 nights in this hotel, which is just 15 minutes walk from the Gare du Nord and from the Louvre museum. It definitely needs a refurbishment. There was no hangers for towels, so after the shower or hands washing one doesn't know where to put them. At night time there were doors slamming and noise coming from the...

This nice little hotel in middle of Paris is very charming. Not far from the train station Paris Est you can reach the main spots like Notre Dame or Centre Pompidou in just a few minutes walk. The style of my room was as shown on their webpage. It was clean and quiet. My room was on the 6th floor...

OK, the hotel is getting a bit dated and could use some TLC. That said, we loved everything about our stay of 7 nights and would not hesitate to stay there again. English speaking staff at reception who can advise on most questions you may have. Lift (elevator). Good sized room with a smallish but adequate bathroom, clean, big bed,...

Don't know why we decided to stay here. Rude staff check, shower thats hard to operate check and Paris the dirty hole itself check. Wouldn't come back to Paris even if you paid me. Wanted to book tickets to Disney land Paris and the hotel staff claimed I can only by online or through them and that I couldn't buy...

The location of the hotel is fine actually. It is five minutes walking distance to Strasbourg St Denis metro station which intersects with some other lines as well. Architecture is awful! If you have asthma I definitely DO NOT recommend. Walls are covered with spongy dark red coloured fabric probably . Dust made me caugh several times in two days....

This is a lovely hotel. People mentioned that it was small, but it really isn't that small. You still have room to move around in both the bedroom and the bathroom. All staff on site are very friendly and helpful. Close to main streets and many restaurants. My friend and I are two young woman and we never felt unsafe...

We found this hotel and booked for a long weekend break. It is very close to Gare du Nord and just a couple of stops on the Metro. It is also very convenient for sightseeing using Strasbourg/St Denis metro station as a start point. The hotel provides tea and coffee + kettle in the room and a mini bar fridge...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
