We book a family room. Is not enough space. We stay 3 days. They are not clean the room on time. Depend on price this is ok. Communications of the hotel is good. Near 2 metro. And KFC. Ma Donald's and also Pizza Hut is near the hotel.

The room had such a strong smell of mould/damp that we had to always keep the window and curtain open to have fresh air. It was awful. We entered the room after only a few hours out and we couldn't breathe! There is thick dust along the wall where it meets the floor, thick dust in the corners and mould...

The entrance is weird. You have a machine looking like an ATM and then you enter a code or something to enter to the building. Then once you have your key(card) you use that. Anyways, It is an apartment building. Even the doors between the rooms are extremely close to each other. The room is so tiny. Bathroom was so...

Been there for 4 nights...didn't care that much because we were there for euros so we only needed the beds to sleep...the rooms need improvement, that's true. the staff tried to be friendly, but most of them don't speak any english so...they changed the towels once and only in one of the 2 rooms that we had..they did the beds and cleaned...

Yes, cheapest could be more than you imagine. Internet WiFi very slow and shut down every single time of my staying at the hotel. No breakfast or freege in the room. Cleaning is reasonable. Guys at the front desk ok. Location is great. No fancy and straight concerning to services. Next time I will stay in another place even with...

Off the 10 different hotels I stayed at on my recent trip to Europe, this place by far had the worst bathroom set up. It was absolutely tiny, no counter space and no enclosure around the tub/shower (which is fairly common for Europe) but most have a little more space to work with. The staff here were friendly and helpful....

Very, very small. Rooms were dirty, but did provide clean sheets and clean towels. The location was okay. It was not too far from the Metro. The bathrooms were gross and dirty. Actually spoke English.

There are cheap place that are just simple and minimalistic, but clean and in perfect conditions. Other that are really run down, with no care. This is something that's not correct, in my opinion. It's stealing money, because the basic service should be offered my any accommodation, of any category and rating, it's a matter of being decent. There are...

I'll start with the pros: the location is great- close to the metro station, close to train station, the neighbourhood is nice with a lot of restaurants and shops. The staff in the hotel is helpful. Before our trip, I read all the reviews about the hotel and I expected to not have a door in the toilet or to...

Let's start with the good points about this hotel. It's in a great location - 5 minutes from metro and RER. Close in to the centre in a pleasant, bustling neighbourhood in the 14th arrondissement and within walking distance of lots of attractions. It's cheap for central Paris. There's plenty of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets nearby as well as lots...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
