My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and can only praise this great little hotel. The room was lovely, clean and well serviced. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was really good. I would thoroughly reccommend this hotel and a great location.

Before arrival a questionnaire arrived with inquiries as to how the hotel could help to make my Paris visit better. I had to cut down an original stay of 6 days to 1 night and they accepted this gracefully. I was arriving just after ankle surgery which required me to hop about with a walker so Hotel de Suez gave...

Great location. Excellent service. The price is right. Free wifi. The breakfast is tasty and inexpensive. A perfect way to start the day. I have been staying here over the past twenty years at least a half dozen times ad it is always near perfect.

Stayed in this small hotel in the student quarters in early March this year. Lovely helpful English speaking staff. A few miles from the Eiffel tower but easy to get to if you hire the bikes which are readily available.

I stayed at the hotel for three nights as a 50+ woman travelling solo. This hotel can't be beat for its convenient Left Bank location. Close to cafes, shopping, Notre Dame, RER to airport. I had a small budget room with a twin bed and found it to be more than adequate. New furnishings, comfortable bed, TV with CNN and...

While this isn't the flashiest hotel in Paris, the location is fantastic if you love the left ban and I do. A few short steps from the metro and RER sign B than runs from GDG To Orly Airports makes it extremely convenient to get too. It is a short walk to Notre Dame and close to the Pantheon and...

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
