I am not sure where the hotel in the photos are from but it is not this hotel. While it is central and clean, the rooms are very noisy and cramped, more like a cell than a room. They started by giving us a large street-level room which was fine, but with walls so thin it was like sleeping next...

The hotel is conveniently located within a 15 minute walk of the Châtelet-Les Halles RER hub, and a 20 minute walk from the Louvre. It can be easy to miss from the outside as although it has a giant "hotel" sign above the entrance, the name is placed on a small plaque by the door, and the hotel is situated...

After reading some reviews we were unsure. But this place is a gem. Hotel is clean and staff are friendly. Ideal location and short walking distance to a few metro stations which get you around Paris in no time. Few lovely little restaurants nearby. Definitely be back when we are in Paris next.

We are just about to check out from the hotel and have enjoyed our stay. Hassle free two night stay with a nice central location for visiting the sights of Paris! Plenty of things to do in and around the hotel with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. If your looking to not pay through the nose during a trip...

This was a nightmare! The room that I booked on booking.com had a bathroom and kitchenette. After checking in with the rudest man I've ever dealt with, we go upstairs to see that the room has NO BATHROOM. The front desk man demanded that we leave our room key with him before we left, refused to rebook or refund us,...

Very personable staff in this family-owned, 300-year-old hotel. Reasonably priced and situated in the heart of nightlife on Bonne Nouvelle, and a brief, 15-minute walk to either Sacre Coeur or the Seine. Extensive upgrades but the heart of its heritage remains. The rooms are generally small, but guests spend much more time exploring a the historic neighbourhood.

Stayed here for my 30th birthday for 3 days. didn't expect much for how much we paid. but my goodness I was shocked. OK so it was tiny, the shower was at the bottom of the bed (was enclosed in) but that didn't matter. toilet was next door so it was shared with other hotel guests (never so much as...

I traveled with my cousin and booked a double bed room. To everyone who plays Pokémon Go, there're three poké stops nearby, but you're only close to two of them at a time. Sometimes you're close to all three, but always at least two. The hotel is very small, but it's cool. It's cheap and it's has a somewhat good...

Located a short walk from Bonne Nouvelle Metro station essentially unlocks the whole of Paris from one central location. This hotel offers a cosy package for couples who would simply like somewhere to rest their head. Wi-Fi was readily available and the connection was strong. Furthermore, the staff were very helpful in trying to get you settled. Please note that...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
