Finding a bike-friendly hotel in France with safe bike storage can be a nightmare. We love this hotel - its owners are cyclists and they understand why someone arriving with a bike might be paranoid about having it stolen in Paris. The rooms are modern and stylish, the breakfast relaxed and hearty, the staff friendly and there is even a...

Lovely room, small, clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. Room had everything you need: hairdryer, safe, drinks facilities etc Breakfast bar was well stocked with plenty of variety. The hotel was easy to find. We took the metro from CDG airport with no problem. The metro station is only a very short walk from the entrance. There...

This is our third stay so clearly we enjoy this hotel. Rooms are a bit small but clean comfortable. There are small bits needing a slight upgraded but this does not detract from our stay at all. We were there as a group of 6 for 3 nights. Staff were helpful.and a breakfast we always had a table for all...

Good morning Shoshana, Thank you very much for your review and your fidelity, it means a lot for us. We are glad you appreciated the service during your breakfast as well as your room. AS you may imagine, Christina and Laurent (owners) are doing their best to improve the hotel day by day and it consumes a lot of time....

Have stayed at this hotel before and again impressed by the staff, the comfort and the location. Hotel de la Porte Doree is one of those really comfortable hotels in a nice old building, renovated to offer a good night sleep, while maintaining its charm. Yes, it is all very small, but never a problem. The hotel is off-centre, but...

Hello Mohammed, Thank you for your comment... and once again, congratulation for your honeymoon :) Thank you for mentioning our friendly staff. It is true that we are not in the center but we are very close to Subway station, tramline and autobus. You can easily be in the center in 15 minutes. We like, on contrary, to think that...

We are two students studying in the UK who decided to go to Paris over Winter, and chose the hotel via TripAdvisor. Though Porte Doree isn't really within the tourist areas, the Metro is probably less than a minute away and travelling was really easy. All the staff were really delightful and helpful - thank you for letting us check...

We stayed Saturday and Sunday night at this hotel over the Easter weekend. It was very easy to find, being situated right next to an underground station, which also aided our travels around the city and made it easy to access the both airports (we flew in and out from different locations). The room was small but really cosy and...

we picked this hotel for the location, it is a little bit outside of the major tourist spots but with easy and quick access to the subway and the bus network, (almost at the door of the hotel) and the tram, it's a breeze to go to any location in Paris, the neighborhood is quiet and safe, typically French, with...

I REALLY like this hotel and i will tell you why before the reserve. Its a beautiful old, elegant building. There has been significant upgrades and improvements without losing its soul. My first stay was in a single room which was of course small but very comfortable. Great bed and shower. My second stay was in a double. Beautiful room...

This was a wonderful hotel! The rooms were clean, the staff were very friendly, and the location was ideally located very close to the Metro. It was also right across the street from a little bakery and a small grocery type store. I felt very much at home there, and I especially loved that it didn't have the feel of...
