Detailed Reviews
That was my second time in St Cristopher’s. For a solo traveler with no special demands to stay a couple of nights in a safe, comfortable place I can surely recommend it.
Bathrooms with showers and toilets are clean and simple. The only thing is that they have no soap to wash the hands.
The rooms are very well equipped, you can have your private space with the personal curtains, you have the place to charge your electronic devices just above your head and personal lights... so I really appreciated the way everything is arranged there, you also have a space for your luggage. Actually among all the commun rooms in all the hostels that I’ve tried in different cities and countries this one is one the best ones.

My partner and I booked a small double private room last minute and it was perfect. We had another hotel booked which we arrived at and were very unhappy with. We booked this hostel which was originally our preferred choice, we booked it for 3 of the 4 nights of our trip. It was available very quickly. Our room was perfect, staff were all so kind and lovely, it was small but we had paid for a smaller room. Lockers for suitcases was great, free breakfast because we booked direct and discount off of the drinks and food at the bar as we were staying. It was perfect for us and the location was excellent!

I would overall recommend my stay at St. Christopher's in Paris. The location is pretty good, right next to the Gare du Nord station that made getting to other parts of the city quick and easy. Belushi's bar and restaurant downstairs was super cool, it had all of the food and drinks a young American could want and an ideal party atmosphere. The only downsides to my stay were the dorms, which were more crowded than I would have liked, and the outside noise which did not cease until very late into the morning (I had a flight the next day). Overall I had a positive experience at St. Christophers and I highly recommend it to other young travelers looking for a fun and affordable place to stay in Paris.

I stayed here for 3 nights with my college. It was alright overall. The beds were relatively comforable (I stayed in a 4 bedroom dorm). The toilet facilities were always clean but the shower is a pain to use. It only runs at a decent speed if the water temperature is cold and you have to keep pressing a button for it to work. The staff there were nice too. The free breakfast I got with it was very limited and was honestly disappointed but the bread is nice. At least they had tea and coffee avaiable.

Do not book this hostel!!! The room is cold as a fridge because there is no heating!!! It looks more like an overpriced prison dump with security than a hostel. If there is no heating in Paris until the end of November, then the price should be moderate. There are only 4 showers on the whole floor with "hundred" people staying. There is security in front of the hostel asking you for your card, then you have to check in 4 x times in order to get to your room: in front of the elevator, in the elevator, in the corridor when you leave the elevator, and then to get into the room. The elevator is so dysfunctional because you can use one card for one floor, so a bunch of people are all straggling to press the button with each card. On the 3. floor for safety reasons you cannot open the windows - they are locked, so there is some kind of strange ventilation mechanism that starts buzzing from early in the morning until late in the evening and you cannot switch it on nor off. It made the room even colder. About the location: the area around Gare du Nord is one of the most dangerous locations to go for a walk in the evening in Paris. Yeah, it is well-connected, but it is not a place where you can go for a walk in the evening. Because of the club downstairs, in some rooms, it is super noisy. I want to thank to cleaning staff and people working at the reception. They were super nice and were working really hard.

COVID WARNING !
The arabic manager and some latin staff tend to allocate people of colour, regardless of attitude, in the same rooms than economically deprivated people, sometimes with doubtful hygiene and without respecting the allocation of bunkbeds with reasonable distance.
The french managers are much more inclusive and dont base their decision on skin colour only.
Be careful if you care not catching covid positive.

Arrived and got a lovely friendly welcome from the receptionist (didn't get her name but she's from Mexico). The receptionists continued to be incredibly helpful (night manager from Bulgaria explained the best way to get to Beauvais airport and I'm not sure I'd have made it without her!). Hostel was huge but still really secure and hygienic, which was impressive. I could meet lots of people but there was also space if you just want to be quiet and alone. Was also happy with how much locker space was available. Only complaint was that the room I was sleeping had very weak air conditioning, so it was a bit difficult to sleep in the middle of summer, but it didn't ruin my stay.

When one of our group members had to cancel last minute we were afraid that this would mean no refund but she wasn't charged and on top of that we were relocated to a room which would be of more comfort to our new group size. Another member of our party had to leave during the middle of our stay and again the receptionist were very helpful and gave her a full refund. highly recommend

A group of 4 of us stayed at St Christopher's Gare Du Nord for one night in March.
The price (£25pp for a private 4 bed room) and location were definitely the highlights. The hostel is around a 3-minute walk to Gare Du Nord, so super handy for exploring the city via the metro, and also great for those getting the Euro Star.
The beds were comfy, however very squeaky, so every time one of us sat down, climbed a bunk bed ladder or rolled over in our sleep they made a pretty loud & annoying noise.
However - Despite being told our room was ready when we went up to drop our bags in the room it hadn't been cleaned and the old bedding from the last visitors was still on the beds! There also wasn't any soap in the room, which was extremely concerning. We went and asked at reception, and it turns out there should have been and they'd forgotten to put it in our room - not great!
The breakfast was average, and could definitely have done with a toaster. I've stayed at a St Christopher's before (in Berlin) and the breakfast there was definitely better, which is why this one felt so average.
We also then had to pay to store our bags in the luggage room, which is definitely a first and was disappointing.

Having visited this hostel before, I was looking forward to staying in one of the private rooms. In short, our stay was disappointing.
The good: the hostel is in a decent location. You can walk to Montmartre and Gare du Nord is practically on the doorstep. The food in Belushis is also quite good.
I can't really get past how unclean the hostel is. It is absolutely filthy. The common area does not get cleaned often, and as a result there are rodents living there. I don't mind animals, and this mouse seemed a charming fellow, but mice simply do not gather in clean places. This suggests that the hostel has a long term cleanliness problem. Just keep the place clean and the mice will disappear! As for our room, a sign said that housekeeping would be in to change linen and make beds etc every second day but we never saw them.
The rooms are also very small. We struggled to move about in our double room and I could barely turn around in the shower. Finding room for our luggage was nearly impossible. These double rooms would be better sold as twin rooms, with a bunk instead of a double bed that really doesn't fit.
I had mixed experiences with the staff. The person who helped me organise a late check out was very helpful. The gentleman I got a hair dryer off was not. After surrendering my ID in exchange for the meager hair dryer he simply slapped it down on the counter behind him. When I asked if he was going to put it somewhere safe, his colleague looked at me like I was from another planet. How dare I have a problem with my ID being left haphazardly on a counter behind reception, I guess. Finally, in spite of our late checkout, I had to shut the door on housekeeping twice as they tried to ask if we were done with the room yet.
I had a bad experience with a St Christopher's before in London, and was willing to accept this as an isolated incident. My experiences here tell me that this is not the case. The entire chain has clearly gone downhill and as a result, I will not risk booking another one.

Thank you and we hope to visit us! :)
The showers are shared like a dorm but not private be careful.
Just stayed there. I live in a big US city, in downtown, and this hostels location made me feel really unsafe.
The easiest is to use the train RER B directly from the airport. It will lead you strait to Paris Gare du Nord in 35 mins for 10€. Exit Paris gare du nord, on your left walk approx 100 metres, you will See st. christopher's on your right
I don’t think they’d say no
