Do NOT stay here. BEDBUGS. Not only did I wake up itching at 4am, to find myself covered in insects (punaise de lit) like a horror show, 5 days later I have 77 bites that still haven't healed and the nasty, mean little manager, Sofiane, refuses to reimburse me for the nights I was there, let alone the damages to... The room didnt look like the photos, very small. It was an inner groundfloor courtyard room. The room and bedsheets felt damp and cold with a musty smell. The shower and sink wouldn't drain properly so you could only have the water on for a short time before it threatened to flood the bathroom. The wifi repeater in the room... More

Stayed here in April, only just getting round to reviewing. Excellent location - Montmatre is really lovely and was our fave area in Paris, very pretty. Metro is v close and takes you everywhere. Room was big, most importantly clean and comfortable with everything you need for a short stay - impressed with bathroom appeared to be quite new, large... More

This is a functional hotel in a good city location (albeit a bit seedy). The rooms were basic but comfortable and the bathrooms are good quality. The staff were friendly but didn't seem to be around much- not a problem for us but may be for other travellers. The Hotel is in a very useful location, close to several metro... More

We booked a room here via priceline/agoda and missed the reroute/rebooking email after Clermont was filled up. The front desk staff at Clermont was fantastic and helpful in both contacting Agoda/Priceline and reccomending the best hotel nearby. We DID NOT stay here, but the place looked great and seemed to have a lot of character. Hopefully our replacement is as... More

It was a last minute choice but couldn't be better! Just round the corner from moulin Rouge. Close to metro and short distance from all the attractions. Very friendly staff. Room not so big but perfect for a good sleep. There is a pub downstairs and we could hear people at night but it didn't bother us... we were so... More

The bathroom is small, very small. Room is also quite small with not much space to put luggage. It is clean, and nice, close to a very nice cathedral and the metro. Do not be put off by the outside! There are a lot of Cafes near by that do really nice breakfast.

Stayed there in July 2015. Everything was clean and smelled fresh. Super comfy beds and pillows, incredible shower pressure and temperature, and tucked away in a little street. For a place to sleep, wash up, and plan your daily adventures on the free wifi, it was awesome and worth it! Would stay again! The sign in was simple and easy... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
