This is a great hotel and very quirky. Service us quick and efficient and staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed in a deluxe suite which was comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast is relaxed and served until 11am which is great. Nothing to complain about -well situated and close to the metro.

A small hotel but perfectly placed for excellent restaurants in the Latin Quarter and exploring the centre of Paris. We went with kids and had two connecting rooms. The rooms weren't that spacious and we weren't overwhelmed with the decor but over the next three days we found we had everything we needed - free WIFI, tea and coffee, mini-bar,...

I stayed here for 5 nights at the end of January. All the good reviews of this hotel are justified. The reception service is excellent and very helpful and even managed to cope with my imperfect French. The rooms are tastefully decorated and quiet -if a little small (normal for Paris). The buffet breakfast is excellent and for the evening...

I plan on staying here again. Allow me to give you very real expectations: 1) it's a trendier hotel, so the style speaks to that. 2) the buffet - if included - is very small. Not a lot of options, but it's tasty, and totally satisfies. 3) the location is MAGNIFICENT. Within only a few blocks to Notre Dame, and...

We booked this hotel for this short visit due to the close location (4 mins walk from Notre Dame). On arrival from the outside it looked ok but nothing special. However, once inside we thought it had a lovely contemporary feel and the staff very friendly. We loved that they had an "honesty bar" which meant you could get a...

We stayed in the Hotel Atmospheres in January during a weekend trip. The hotel was clean, the room were good and the staff was very kind. We had the luck to have a room at the top level with a littly balcony and a view on roof level. The rooms are having different sytles and "Atmospheres" which gives an individual...

We stayed in room 201 and the bathroom is absolutely stunning. It was twice the size of the actual bedroom with the largest bath I have ever seen and his and hers sinks. The staff at the hotel were lovely that was evident from our one night stay. The breakfast we had a deal where we got it included but...

Dear Madam We are very happy to know that you had an excellent stay with us. It is a great pleasure for us to know that you appreciated the superior room 201 with its huge bathroom. My son and I stayed at the Hotel Atmospheres for 5 days at the end of the year. The rooms are typically small for Paris but the service was top-notch. We were in a room facing the street and we never heard noise from either the street or other rooms. For the first two days it felt as if we...

We always go for the twin room in this amazing hotel, and at this point I feel it wouldn't be Christmas without it. The staff are amazing, they're so friendly and so welcoming, even tolerating my attempts at French (I'm a student, I'm learning!) They speak so many languages though so it's not a problem if you DON'T speak French,...

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.

THE FIRST ART-GALLERY HOTEL IN PARIS We invited photographer Thierry des Ouches to decorate the hotel with his breathtaking photography. Based on 112 original prints that are displayed throughout the hotel, in the lobby and rooms and his film "Paris" which is screened in the reception. With it's ideal location in Saint Germain, not only is the hotel's decoration unique, it's location in Paris' most exciting neighborhood, makes it the best of both worlds (great decoration and great location).
