Good value for the price. The rue du Commerce is one of the most charming old neighborhoods in Paris, full of little boutiques and old-fashioned ambience. There's an outdoor market under the metro line at least twice a week. I had to laugh when I read that one of the other reviewers called this area "seedy" as it is reputed...

I stayed here in March, 1997. When booking this hotel, keep it mind that it's probably less than a one star hotel. And, because of that, the hotel is cheap, a great bargain in Paris. But if you're on a budget and are looking for a clean and comfortable hotel at a great rate, then this is the place for...

I have stayed at the printemps several times with small groups.the hotel is basic. It is clean. The area is good. Lots of restaurants etc. nicole, who speaks english, very well and the staff are friendly. the hotel is superior to a hostel. Again it is basic. Most satisfactory for those on a limited budget.

The earlier reviews sounded great but unfortunately our experience was not! Perhaps new management or the ravages of time caused the problems we saw but it is not a place to pick based on our experience in July 04. We had booked three nights and left after one. We have stayed at 1 * hotels in the past in other...

I stayed at the Hotel Printemps in February 2003. While the staff is friendly and helpful, this is not the place to stay unless you are traveling on a strict budget and can't afford anything better. The beds are amazingly horrible, and the walls are paper thin, making me the victim of the amorous couple's nocturnal activities in the room...

Our family really enjoyed our stay here in Spring of 2000. You can see photos of the street outside the hotel at our website listed below. The lobby is very small with a helpful English speaking staff. Breakfast is served - but there is a delightful bolangerie right across the street with wonderful pastries and sandwiches for your breakfast and...

We went to this hotel in Paris last May-June (2003). We thought it was great for the price, I think it was 38 euros per night, incredible for Paris! We loved the 15th arondissement. The hotel was in such a good location: The metro is real close, there are good places to get a croissant or crepe and espresso in...

after coming into Paris and realizing that the hotel i had booked was actually outside Paris in a suburb, i wandered the streets of the 15th arrondissement looking for a cheap, clean hotel. And i found it in Hotel Printemps. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. For a double room it was 43 per night, so between my friend...
