Dont let the name fool you, consider it more ironic. The place was basic and tidy. I took my gf here for her 25th birthday and paid for a queen bed and a view. What we got was a view on to a main road...More
Room was average and affordable, but the location is the best perk of this hotel. Close to Gare de l'Est and lots of restaurants. It's perfectly comfortable if you want a clean place to lay your head at night while seeing Paris.
Well we stayed here for 4 days on our trip to Paris in April and was fine. The staff are all friendly and helpful. most speak English and the rooms are clean. There are very limited facilities available but if your out all day it...More

Gare de Nord is approximately 10 minutes walk from the Hotel. Depending how much luggage you have, it is walkable. On the other hand Gare de 'oest is about 2 minutes from the Hotel. The minimum fare for a taxi is 5:00 euros which is a very expensive journey considering the distance. As you don't know Paris and the area, I would advise going via the metro to Gare de ;oest and walking the 200 meters to the hotel. Good luck and happy trip.
