I was taking my fiance on a surprise trip to Paris for his 30th birthday. I wanted a central hotel which was cosy and romantic but not too expensive. I saw the reviews on here and decided to book the hotel. I was not disappointed - the hotel has a brilliant location for those who want to explore the city...

The Hotel De Varenne is a nice hotel and MOST of the staff are very friendly. Take the stairs when going up as the elevator is incredibly small, it only holds one person. We were on our honeymoon and asked for something complimentary, we were told our room was cheap and that is complimentary. But most of the staff is...

Dear Guests, First of all I would like to thank you for taking time to review our hotel. I am sincerely sorry that your stay with us did not meet your expectations. I was personally at the reception during your stay and remember you and your wife staying in room 34 for four nights. You say you were on your...

My wife and I stayed in at the end of July 2011. We found the location to be excellent and pretty central to everything in Paris. Being a big city, you will still have trouble walking everywhere. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower. We found the rooms to be a pretty decent size and...

well priced, comfortable, large rooms for Paris. The concierges very very knowledgable and professional. Very thankful for their restaurant tips as the surrounding area was a bit disappointing for food.

Booked this Hotel from all the excellent reports on tripadvisor and were not let down. This hotel is located on a little street in Paris very quiet. It is well hidden from the front of the road. The rooms are well appointed and are fairly large for hotels in Paris. Most of the attractions are about a 15 min walk...

Stayed here a small week to visit a relative living at the Invalides. The hotel is very nice with a patio. Decoration is classical. The staff is very kind: I complained that the banging of doors made too much noise and they fixed it overnight. Breakfast is good but limited in choice and quantity Bathroom are OK

This hotel was easy to find. It is well located you can walk to all major monuments. The hotel was clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable, and clean. We did not eat breakfast there, but on the street of the hotel is some great pastry shops. They were not expensive, and there was a grocery store across the street....

I was traveling for work and my husband was along for the ride. We found this hotel on Trip Advisor. It was perfect from beginning to end. The service was superb, the breakfast (especially the team and chocolate croissants) was outstanding. The location was perfect for metro access and walking to museums. We stayed in a superior room the first...

The location of this hotel was fabulous for exploring the city. We were able to easily walk to the main attractions in Paris, and a metro stop is nearby for those who prefer to ride. The hotel is tucked in quiet street for those that want to be centrally located but avoid the city noise at night. The hotel desk...

My husband and I, along our six-year old daughter traveled to Paris in July and stayed in this fine hotel for 5 days. I usually book through the hotel's website, but was glad that I booked this via email because I learned that they could add an extra/roll out bed to some of the rooms (ours was the standard twin...
