Located one block from the Cadet metro stop, this boutique hotel was just perfect for the seven night holiday in Paris. Wifi connection works beautifully-shower is perfect for washing off the city after a day of sightseeing. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. And speaking of the staff, the morning we checked out, the gentleman on duty (long black hair)...

Well located 10 minutes walk from Opera and major shopping center such as the Galleries Lafayette, the hotel is also very close to the lively street rue Montmartre. The hotel is installed in a parisien building. The rooms are quite small and can even be extremely exiguous. If garden room, don't expect a garden view, it is a courtyard with...

I stayed at this hotel because it's a short walk from the offices I was visiting in Paris. The hotel is well kept and welcoming, a stone's throw from "Le Peletier" metro station. The staff were friendly and efficient at all times. My room, on the top (6th) floor was reached via the elevator then a staircase so may not...

My boyfriend and I stayed here on vacation and loved it! We had a great room with a lovely balcony which was perfect for sharing a bottle of wine after a long day of sights. Aesthetically the hotel is so interesting; the bed, linens, and towels were comfortable and refreshed daily. The breakfast was plentiful and on the one day...

This was a wonderful boutique hotel. The staff treated us well. We had a cute, extremely comfortable, very affordable room in a good location! Super clean and creative decor. I enjoyed staying at this place. Little too small for me. Good location without being on the middle of everything or big crowds. Great service. Everything was good, this place is good just for a couple of days, not for long stays in my opinion. Clean also.

I wanted to put 3.5 as my score but that is not possible. The hotel has great staff, from management to the cleaning staff all welcoming and from friendly. Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
An impromptu pied a terre or a Parisian holiday address for an extended stay, Hotel Eugene en Ville offers guests superior hospitality with spirited service. The emphasis is on creating a mixed palette of styles. The raw-finished walls and industrial furniture poke fun at more traditional features and appointments. Dark Victorian patinas, ornate mirrors and candelabras, soft, cosy armchairs and curios – all handpicked from antique shops and markets – create a style that is at once refined and iconoclastic. The chemistry is simply compelling. On the same eccentric register, a giant screen shows snippets of life inside a luxury hotel: an unconventional film that takes a witty look at an establishment that is well and truly frequented in every sense of the word. The hotel has inherited the sort of elegance that never seeks to look overly sophisticated. It possesses the kind of charm that always feels spontaneous: that truly Parisian effortless chic that Eugene holds the secret to. ... more   less
