We stayed in Paris for 3 nights and chose this hotel off of the internet. It was a good value. Our room was clean and the bathroom was nice. The location was great, with the metro across the street. Lots of restaurants nearby. I would...More

Basic hotel, not luxury by any means, you will get a reasonably clean room (by paris standards) and depending on room an undisturbed sleep. Breakfast is very average and the night staff although probably normal for paris come off as very rude. Please and thank...More
room small, but beds comfortable. bathroom spacious , clean and plenty of hot water. Facilities not great-no safe, 1 plastic coffee cup; no coffee, just tea and 1 tiny bar of soap. tv ok. Noise from other guests not an issue for us(were we lucky?)....More
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small
gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.

Keeping money in your luggage is not very smart and no hotel can guarantee you that it is safe. However, they will all hold your money at the front desk if you ask and you can get it when you pick up/drop off your key. I owned an inn and I can tell you that no innkeeper or hotelier can control what happens if you leave valuables in your room. You might have lost it somewhere else. They have no way of knowing if it was when you arrived at the hotel or when you left the airport.
