We stayed here for a Rick Steves Best of Paris tour for a week. The location was good, the Rue Cler street was just around the corner. Effiel tower was just a couple of blocks away. The metro stop was also close. We especially liked riding the bus, both the #69 and the #82. We visited numerous museums including the newly reopened Cluny which has all the medieval art and artificacts.
My husband and I stayed at the Hotel de Londres Eiffel last year. We arrived on his birthday and were escorted to a room with a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower. Upon our arrival, there was a bottle of chilled champagne and a lovely hand written note to welcome us. Located blocks away from the Seine, we were able to walk everywhere in the city from the hotel. The staff were warm, helped us locate a Museum Pass and had wonderful restaurant recommendations. I would stay again in a heartbeat!
I'd researched many hotels in the Eiffel Tower area and this one was hands down the best! Intimate and lovely, the service was phenomenal. Adrien and Arnaud and the whole staff were welcoming and so very helpful. The room we had was quite small, but well equipped, clean and comfortable. It was a twice-postponed birthday trip so we had all the amenities: champagne, flowers, etc. Picked up some fresh strawberries at a local stand and enjoyed everything immensely. Also got to meet Samba, the resident golden. She's awesome! Would stay here again and again. Thank you for a wonderful introduction to Paris!
We stayed at Hotel de Londres Eiffel earlier this month and had a delightful stay. Even before our arrival my communication with Adrien and Arnaud was friendly and very helpful. This hotel is small, but very clean, charming and feels like home. The location is outstanding. We so enjoyed walking to the Eiffel Tower, the Rue Cler, the Seine River Cruise and many fantastic restaurants. My parents and sister enjoyed their rooms, but I splurged for the Eiffel Tower view room. In the end, I so enjoyed seeing the tower upon waking and as it sparkled at night, that I thought it was a worthwhile upgrade. It is truly the staff that sets this hotel apart from others. They treated us like family and bent over backwards to make our stay pleasant in every way! I hope to return someday.
This was a wonderful hotel. They were helpful, they spoke English, they arranged anything you needed. My room was the quietest hotel room I have ever slept in, ask fro a room in the back. There is a hidden panel that is a closet, it is hard to find, but it is there.
