I have visited Paris many times and I have never experienced hospitality as I experienced with the employees of the Hotel Maison Axel Opera Paris. Firstly, this hotel is perfect. There is no better location in all of Paris. It is in the center of everything. You can go straight down Montmartre Boulevard and you are at Les Halles and then Pont Neuf (the Louvre and Notre Dame are not far from there). You can go in the opposite direction on Montmartre boulevard and you are at the Moulin Rouge. Or you can right on Poissonière Boulevard and you will be at the Galleries Lafayette, or left on Poissonière Boulevard for the Place de la Republique and the Père Lachaise cemetery. So this is where you want to be. And the hotel is very clean and recently renovated. The rooms are spacious and very nice. They have 24-hour coffee and hot chocolate service with a little basket with croissants and Medeleines. It is such a nice touch. I have never been in a hotel that does this. The breakfast is excellent, with fresh and delicious products. But none of this compares with the absolutely wonderful staff. At the front desk there is Marius, Sophie, Elena, Laeticia and the great director Frédéric. Then there is Malha who cleaned my room and the one and only, fantastic and sweet Marie who serves the breakfast with all her heart. They are all probably the sweetest people I have ever met in the hospitality business. They will help you with whatever you want. And they all get along so well like they are all family. I was at this hotel for 2 weeks and I didn't want to leave. I will be booking a room at the Maison Axel very soon for my next trip to Paris. Very cosy calm and charming place to stay, we really enjoyed to be there during 3 days. The stuff on the reception were very friendly, Elena found for us a very interesting excursion to visit Paris. The location of the hotel is amazing, in 5 minutes near Opera Garnier by walk!

I went in Paris for work and I stayed at this Hotel for 4 days. Everything was perfect: cleaned and elegant. I would like to say to the director that if I was the owner of a Hotel I would like Elena and Letizia from the reception desk working for me. Make sure you keep them tight! This girls are very professional.

We were warmly welcomed by a friendly , smiling front desk staff. Our roof was freshly cleaned, windows overlooking the street. ( if you are a late morning sleeper, perhaps let the staff know as the clanking of the refuse trucks are early. I personally like the sounds of a city waking up. The staff could not have been more helpful when it came to dinner suggestions, tracking down addresses for us, even helping with a flight reservation I was struggling with. Did the pastries I brought them in the afternoons help, perhaps!!! LOL Just kidding. Location was perfect for our needs.

This has been an incredible hotel. Everyone has been so friendly especially the young lady on the desk who is so polite and kind. Her English is phenomenal and she has made the experience wonderful. The staff at breakfast were welcoming and every comfort that could be hoped for was provided. An easy walk from the Gard du Nord and a place I would hope to stay in again.
