My first experience of seeing my room was "basic, no frills". However it grew on me. It was very clean, very quiet, and the room (top floor) had a sloping ceiling, which looked out upon the rooftops. It reminded me of what used to be imagined as a typical Parisian artist's Garrett studio! But for me, travelling is about spending...

Location: excellent Surroundings: good, safe area to stay in Transport: subway station almost right next door Breakfeast: continental type but ok I enjoyed staying there having in mind what I paid for 5 nights. Room was clean, nice space for 3 people and average bathroom facilities. The 1st night we stayed in a different room but we were warned that...

I've just got back from my first ever solo trip! I was a little nervous, being a single female in an unknown city but I'd definitely do it again and would recommend it to everyone! The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and made me feel really welcome and at-ease. The hotel is in a great location and the...

I stayed here twice, each visit for a couple of days. Firstly, the location is very convenient - a block away from the Republique Metro. Its also a 15-20 min. walk from Gare du Nord, where the RER B arrives from Charles de Gaulle. I walked to the Palais Royale in about 40 minutes (I like walking). Le Primtemps &...

Arrived on our first day to be given a room with a double and a single bed in, I had asked for 3 singles, traveled with brother and sister so double really wasn't any good, went to reception to say they'd given us the wrong room and were told "sorry but a lot of people asked for 3 beds and...

Room a little bit too small for 3 people. No room to move around, but you get what you paid for. The price is reasonably cheap compared to other hotels. Very near to 2 different metro station which makes it even more convenient. Staff can speak English which is a good thing.
