This hotel was great, has a great central location, friendly helpful staff, close to Metro, cafés, shops and the hop on hop off bus. Room was a good size, nice and clean and a balcony. Nice breakfast was supplied, fresh pastries, fruit, yogurt, ham, eggs and cheese & tea & coffee.

We certainly enjoyed our stay here recently. Friendly staff, all you could need in a room, quiet location, enough options for breakfast and near to the opera metro and eateries. What more could you want?

Flying blind on where to stay in Paris, I chose Hotel D 'Antin Paris through the Internet. Well, what a find. Rates very reasonable, right in the heart of Opera, walking distance to so many attractions. Fab restaurants within 500 meters. The staff were fabulous. They speak a variety of languages, and can be most helpful when you need help...

This fabulous little hotel was such a wonderful find for our recent 6 night stay. Brilliant location, in amongst some amazing restaurants - mostly asian. The bed is a real double, the rooms are super comfortable and decent sized, and immaculately cleaned. Wonderful little touches like heated towel racks and complimentary pastries (in reception) and the breakfast is lovely -...

We stayed here for two nights and had great sleep both nights. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Bathroom was very nice (shower only but that's what I like). Air con worked but you needed the windows shut (front desk helped us with this). Yes the lift is small but what do you expect in these old buildings....

The hotel is located in a quiet side street, and a minute or so's walk from the hustle and bustle of Paris. It's within easy walking distance of the Louvre and Seine. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and well appointed, and we would stay here again for our next visit to...

Tucked in a little street off of the main thoroughfare, just a few blocks south of the major Opera metro stop and maybe a dozen blocks north of the Louvre, the location would have a hard time being better. The room itself was all right. It seemed like it had air conditioning - the vents made noise - but it...

My Mom and I stayed at this hotel for one night while traveling through Europe. Paris hotels are incredibly expensive, this hotel seemed very reasonable, especially once you consider it's fabulous location. Once we finally found it, (directions on the website stopped once you arrived at the Opera House,) we were very pleased. The lobby was very pretty, and the...

This really is just an okay hotel. The location is its best part - only a few blocks from the Paris Opera House and really close to many great sights. However, the room is very plain and the service left a lot to be expected; they weren't rude, they just weren't overly helpful. The Wi-Fi was free, but did not...

I stay twice a year in this hotel in occasion of an exhibition. It is nicely located at 3 mins walking from the Opera, in the heart of the center of Paris. Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

“We were in 302 which is a small twin room with the beds pushed together. The toilet was in the opposite corner of the room to the bathroom which was quirky and not a problem. There is a small lift to all floors which is fitted in the middle of a spiral staircase, very French.”
