This is a perfectly good hotel - but I would not call it quite as special as some people imply. The staff are helpful. Location is very good. The lobby area is nicely fitted out, sofas, small, smart, but no special character - would not really want to sit their long but comfortable for waiting for a taxi . The...

Dear Sir, Thanks you to take time to share your experience in Hotel Le Senat. Superior room is the first room type, it should be better to reserve a Deluxe room or a Suite to get a larger room. About the charge of 7 euro, it is requested for an Express Brekfast what includes viennoiseries, hot drink ( tea, coffee,...

Le Senat is a lovely boutique hotel located on the Left Bank, in a quiet section of Rue de Vaugirard, a few steps from Boulevard Saint-Michel. These hotel offer cosy rooms decorated in a contemporary style. Everything looks sleek, nice and impeccable clean. A rather narrow elevator will take you to your room. Rooms here are really quiet -you don´t...

Location is really good, about half a mile from the river and main visitor sites within 2 miles. Staff were very friendly and booked our taxi's and Bistro. Recommendations were excellent and rooms small but comfortable. Value for money was good, although hotel drinks expensive they were in keeping with the rest of Paris. Clean & Tidy, lovely breakfast and...

We stayed here for four nights at end October. I had done a lot of exploring on trip advisor and decided this was the one! We were not disappointed. It was on the left bank very close to the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens and very quiet at night We were given an upgrade and had a room on the top floor....

First of all this hotel is in the heart of quartier Latin Saint Germain district at 100 meters from beautiful Luxembourg park. The hotel is a small hotel with comfortable and modern rooms. Dear Madam, Dear Sir, Thanks you for your kind review about Hotel Le Senat. We stayed in a nice fifth floor (deluxe?) room for three nights (we believe it was an upgrade from the superior room we reserved) and 101 for one night at the end of our trip. Room 101 was roomy enough (for Paris) but the ambience was just ok. The natural lighting was just ok. Both rooms faced an interior court...

Dear Valued Guest Thank you for reviewing your stay at Hotel Le Senat. Room 101 is a Deluxe room with a view on the courtyard, but with less natural light than the rooms with a street's view . Great hotel for a weekend break in Paris - located in a lovely area, near to Luxembourg station for the RER (to CDG and Orly airports) and Odeon metro station. Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
