A stones throw from the Moulin Rouge & Montmarte - despite that a very quiet room and very comfortable bed - only adverse comment was space a bit limited but that was totally offset by the staff and location. Breakfast impressive. Lounge quaint and a decent place to sit.

Perfect french hotel. Helpful multi-lingual staff. Small but beautifully appointed room with two wardrobes for storage, windows that you could open for fresh air and to better see the charming buildings in the area. Breakfast was served for several hours, and included a generous array of breads, cheese, fruit, hot and cold beverages, eggs, pancakes, etc. There was afternoon tea...

My girlfriend and I decided to visit Paris and stumbled across this gem of a hotel. We loved it so much we've booked again to return in July! The room was lovely, well decorated, views I'd imagined to see of the high top buildings. The staff were all really nice and willing to help out with directions and anything we...

Great little hotel with welcoming staff. Quirky, colourful and individual, we enjoyed it. Loved the Nespresso machine in our room, but really needed more coffee pods! That's okay as reception also had a machine and you could grab a coffee there. Breakfast was lovely, with a lot of choice for a small hotel, the bread was lovely and scrambled eggs...

We stayed this weekend just gone and enjoyed our time in Paris despite the appalling weather. The hotel is a charming boutique hotel and we loved the R Kipling theme throughout. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the hotel was situated in a good location close to the Metro and Moulin Rouge. The only negative comment I would...

This hotel is located in a very busy street all the night ( near to Moulin Rouge) The room was without isolated windows and we were like in the street ! Our room was smaller than in Japanese hotels : impossible to put easily luggages ... Fortunately services people were nice

First experience with this hotel group, I was seduced by the concept and the design. However, we were highly disappointed by the room. So tiny you cannot go around the bed if the bathroom door is open, and you have pretty much nowhere to put your things away. The bed was big though but too much for the room. It...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
