My wife and I spend four nights here at the end of September. The management was both pleasant and helpful (as were all the Parisians we encountered throughout our entire stay, not at all what you might have heard). The bathroom might fall in the “quirky” category, but it was certainly fine. Location of the hotel is excellent, near cafes,...

A cosy little hotel in the heart of the city. Stayed here 3 nights with my girlfriend. Friendly staff and clean rooms with very confy beds! Close to a lot of restaurants and public transportation. Since its located in a side street there was no issue with noise from the street.

Such a lovely little hotel. For Paris, the rooms were actually a decent size and the beds were ridiculously comfy. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Location-wise, it's a great place to stay. Not too far from the Vavin Metro Line (line 4 if you're coming in from the Gare du Nord), it's then a few minutes down the...

The location is spot on the Centre. Perfect for tourist who wants to explore the city. It is near the Train station and Notre Dame Cathedral. Jean, the owner and manager of the hotel is very accomodating. He readily offered advise on hoe to get around the city. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and will certainly go...

I stayed here for 3 nights while traveling solo this summer. The management was very friendly and helpful. My room was clean, pleasant and the bed was very comfortable. It also had a small refrigerator with a mini bar. The bathroom was rather large and very nice. Only drawback was that there was no shower, just a tub. Although there...

We stayed here for 8 nights and then came back for one night after a few days in the south. The management is completely professional, easy to get along with, accommodating. The rooms were very pleasant, clean, bright, contained everything you'd need -- even closet, drawers, and ironing board! And the location is the best part. A small street right...

Large, clear room, furniture was new and well preserved. Excellent bathroom, with a huge window. Shower is " telephone ". which is not very easy to handle, but there was plenty of hot water . Amenities were from L´Occitane en Provence. Breakfast was very good, with yaourt, compote de pomme, pain au chocolat, bread, croissants, kind of cottage cheese ,...

My partner and i stayed here as part of our little road trip we were wanting to stay in Paris one night before getting the Thalys to Rotterdam. Great charming hotel with warm welcome, cosy atmosphere, good accommodation. Excellent location, 100m away from the jardin du Luxembourg, vavin metro station. The wifi does not work so well in the room, upper floor. Great value / price ratio.

Dear Parchambault, Thank you for taking time to write a nice comment about our hotel. We are so pleased that you enjoyed the good location (nearby luxembourg garden, Notre Dame de Paris...). We appologize for the inconvenience of wireless access caused by the power failure but it has been fixed since then. Looking forward to welcoming you next time in...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
