Perfect hotel for a short stay in the Latin quarter - friendly staff and a great central location. We shared one of the triple rooms, which was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space and a view of the Eiffel Tower (if you crane your neck a bit!)

Small room, but convenient. Bathroom is really narrow. Like a lot of hotels in old Parisian buildings, this is for Lilliputians. But it is ideally located, in the heart of Saint-Germain, close to Notre-Dame, Le Louvre and plenty of restaurants and shops.

This hotel is expensive, but in a nice location. My single room in the roof space was small, but adequate. The shower area was remarkably tiny. I've scarcely seen smaller. Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
