Clean and comfortable room, very friendly and accommodating staff, nice to have a 24 hour reception ensuring that hotel was secure. Very convenient location, near to the Eiffel Tower and transport links.
Basic hotel, has some charms, has a garden which could be more appreciated during better weather. Typical paris hotel, small room but good enough. Had typical paris hair dryer and soap/gel douch dispensers. Bathroom and room were relatively clean except that we found poop streaks...More
Location of this hotel is very convenient. Situated within 10 minutes walking distance to Metro and 15 minutes walking distance to Eiffel Tower. At the main street, there is a lot of cafes and restaurants. Staff is very helpful. Very cozy room and beautifully decorated.
It was a very nice stay, and old and typicall building but very well decorated anmd very nea Eiffel Tower, very pleasant people, nice breakfast very good croissants.
Rooms are comfortable little but very well decorated.

Take the RER B to Denfert-Rochereau then Metro to La Motte-Picquet Grenelle. Take exit 3, Boulevard de Grenelle, the Hotel de L"Avre is literally 2 mins walk from the subway. It is all well signposted :-) Think the cost is 1.90 euros. Not sure how much a taxi would cost probably about 40-50 euros.
