Pros: Friendly and helpful staff Best location to most tourist spots, museums Very safe neighborhood with great restaurants and shopping Cons: CONSTRUCTION going on next door The rooms are very outdated with old furnitures Limited amenities inside the room (no robe, no toothbrush, no decent soaps) The worst part of the stay: The rooms I stayed in were not LEVERAGE...

Dear Madam, Thank you for taking time to share your opinion on tripadvisor and for your compliments about the staff and the aera :) Concerning the construction next door the hotel, we are sorry but it is not our fault, it is the fault of the building next door. We are a 3 stars hotel, then toothbrush and robe are...

We stayed at Le Regent hotel for two nights in October. We found it comfortable and a little more roomy (not too roomy) than some of the others. I would recommend a superior room if you are a couple and staying more than one night. The beds were a little firmer, larger and the room a little bigger. It is...

I stayed there twice for a very low price, the location was perfect and the service excellent. I recommend it to anyone who is traveling to paris. The fact that its right infront of the metro station "Anvers" its the best.

This is a very clean, well-run hotel in a busy area 2 blocks from the Seine. Right next door are 4 large cafe's where it is fun to eat outside and people-watch. We had been to the hotel 2 years before with a group and were welcomed back warmly. Were in room 32, up three flights. I often walked up,...

I'd rather leave a comment in English. Don't look further: you want to be in the greatest area of Paris in the best place, well there. It is a 3 stars hotel; I'd give it 4. The hotel itself is a beautiful place. The staff is amazing and very helpful. The rooms, everything: perfect. I'm a Parisian but for some...

Quintessential boutique hotel in Paris! Tiny yet beautifully decorated, this might be the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in, but it didn't matter because we were barely in it. The hotel is perfectly located in St. Germain and was only a short walk to the Seine, Louvre, and Notre Dame. St. Germain has tons of art galleries, restaurants, shopping...

Dear guest, First of all we thank you for choosing our hotel and also for taking time to share your opinion on Tripadvisor. We are pleased that you like Le Regent even if "Standard" rooms are small. Indeed, rooms are small in the area of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, but we have bigger rooms in "Deluxe" and "Superior" categories. Hope to see you...

We were delighted with this hotel for our weekend in Paris. It is located in a fantastic area - close to multiple cafes, restaurants, bakeries and shops. A short walk to Louvre and Notre Dame. The hotel had tasteful decor and our room was spotless. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay there again in a heartbeat,

I highly recommend this hotel for the great service I received from Angelique & Sandrine. When I needed a last minute reservation for an early morning arrival, they were able to accommodate my unusual request. I have stayed many times at this hotel over the years. It is a charming hotel in a great area of Paris. The Superior rooms...

Our annual ski group tact on several days to our Austrian ski trip and stayed at this hotel that is just south and a couple blocks from the Ile de la Cite (Notre Dame's island). The Hotel Le Regent is a good standard 3 star hotel. The room is clean, the staff is very friendly and they serve good croissant for breakfast. They also offer a good car service to the airport. Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
