I will definitely be back to this hotel. Very well located on a small street however in the middle of it all with good restaurants and shops right on the street. Friendly and very helpful staff. The best hotel breakfast we had on our trip with their awesome fruit bowls and fresh croissants. We had a Superior room (twin) on...

Just returned from a weekend stay at Hotel La Perle. The hotel is in a great location - just a minute's walk from the beautiful St Sulpice Square and 5 minutes walk from the excellent shopping on the Boulevard St. Germain, but the rooms are tiny, even by Parisien standards. I had a twin room as sharing with a friend...

My husband and I stayed here 4 nights while sightseeing in Paris. We didn't want a chain hotel, and wanted something a little off the beaten path. This hotel is lovely. It doesn't look like much from the street, but the rooms are quite comfy and good sized. After all I'd heard about tiny European hotel rooms, this place was...

This is an excellent hotel smack in the middle of the 6th arrondissement and a short walk from a metro station. Very comfy and clean rooms. We stayed here for a night during our stay in Paris while we were in transit. Turned out to be a really good option. There are many eateries in and around the area. It's...

The location of this hotel is superb. Right in the heart of St Germain & the very beautiful St Sulpice square at the end of the street, you can't go wrong. We arrived before check in and our room was ready early, which was helpful. To top it all, we were told we had a free upgrade! We had a...

This hotel is centrally located among great shopping, restaurants and cafes, and within walking distance to the most famous locations in Paris including the Eiffel Tower, Louvre and Notre Dame, making it an ideal base for a short stay in Paris. We stayed here for 6 nights at the beginning of February. Our room on the 4th floor, which looked...

If you want the perfect location in Paris....this is it. I have stayed here many times and always feel like I'm returning home. The rooms have been recently renovated (which is a plus!) but what makes this hotel so special is the staff. Anya, Teddy and Lydia are an amazing staff. So helpful and kind, there is nothing they won't...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
