The Jules Cesar is a typical, unpretentious Paris hotel. The rooms are small and basic but are clean. The staff are friendly and helpful and they serve a good breakfast which should keep you going till lunchtime. We have been there about seven times now and we find it suits our needs especially as we usually arrive in Paris from...

Hotel is very old, decrepit, everything was very cheap, miniature elevator, the doors are very thin, so everything is heard, what is happening in the corridor. Image not far from what is in pictures.I saw much better hotel for this price.

Booked a double room for 3 nights via hotel-paris.fr We payed 78€ per night, and that is not expensive for Paris. Large bedroom (Paris standards), with enough closet space for a city trip. Bathroom with shower was not to big, but large enough. Breakfast costs 8€ per person but is good. Croissant, chocolate roll, breadrolls. Coffee, tea or hot chocolate....

The hotel is perfect for a budget stay close to the Gare de Lyon station. The rooms are clean and the staff were very helpful. The only problem was the guy in the room above jumping around loudly. Perfect place for. Would definitely stay again.

I made a last minute booking of this hotel in September 2007 for a rugby weekend - nothing else was really available in Paris. The location is good - a couple of minutes walk from Gare de Lyon mainline station and Bastille metro station and there are lots of places to eat nearby. In terms of hotel amenities, I believe...

We stayed at the Jules Cesar hotel just for one night in June. Contrary to the reviews, we found the hotel as a poor choice. It is actually an old apartment building converted to a hotel. Almost everything is old and rundown: squeaky and wavy floors, key does not want to fit into the door, winding stairway with a filthy...

We've spent 2 night in this hotel, it was worth to book it.Perfect location, nice tidy, airconditioning rooms, with flat tv,removated bathroom with shower. There wa sonly one minus, sometimes u hear people shut the doors, so for longer sleepers for long time, hard to stand. But price and location, directly next to Opera Bastilie and metro station is worth...

Great central hotel for a visit to Paris on a budget. Near Metro and Gare de Lyon. Rooms basic but fine and have air-con. We didn't bother with breakfast as there are loads of places to eat nearby. Receptionists were very good at giving advice and spoke good English.

I stayed at the Hotel Jules Cesar for 2 nights in October whilst travelling with a friend throughout Wales, England, and France. As a means of keeping our budget under control, we decided to settle for cheaper lodging while visiting Paris. Accomodations are basic at the Jules Cesar. My friend and I barely spent any time at the hotel, other...

This hotel is a budget 2 star hotel with basic amenities (AC, heating, TV, ensuite bathroom, telephone) not much of décor. The rooms including the bathroom & toilet were small but adequate in size and clean. The bathroom door did not lock but we did not have a problem. The bedsheets and towels were clean and regularly replaced. The room...
