Nothing fancy here, but a great location to set out and explore Paris. Located in a quaint neighborhood, this is a great spot where you can easily walk to breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We only spent a short time here, but it was perfect for our simple needs.

The location is awesome. Close to transportation, walking distance to several sites (including the Louvre), cafe's, and bakeries. Lots of little grocery stores to buy fresh fruit and cheese for those wanting a simple meal. Hotel was clean and staff were helpful. Downside is the bed was lumpy. But, for the price of the room, would stay there again.

Wonderfully located cosy little place. Loved that all bakeries/ food venues were just round the corner. The staff (one who could speak english) was really helpful in telling us about the touristy things to do. Totally affordable and worth the price!

This hotel is ideal for anyone scrolling through pages and pages of 3* hotels trying to find somewhere clean and well located for a weekend in Paris. This was me! My boyfriend booked this hotel and it was ideal. I am always a little worried that hotels won't be clean or be in the middle of nowhere but this place...

If you are looking for an affordable, unpretentious and convenient place to stay in Paris, hotel Tiquetonne is worth considering. My review is based on two distinct stays (rooms 206 and 606) What I liked about the hotel: - Location, location, location! Smacked in the center of the Right Bank, next to the charming Galerie du Grand Cerf, the pedestrian...

I had a lovely night in this hotel. The lady on reception was really friendly (I don't speak any French and she made it very easy!). I paid extra €5 for breakfast which wasn't much but was a welcome morning treat. The rooms are basic, but very clean. The toilets are on every floor (also clean) and I didn't ever...

This hotel is for those who need a clean room with a bed and an own bathroom. Room included bed, chairs, table, and cupboard, and a bathroom with fresh towels. Very comfortable pillows, good warm blankets, and spacious double-bed. Charger sockets and a fast wifi included. No kettle, hairdryer or shampoo provided but small pieces of soap that was plenty...

There are not many hotels like this left now: old fashioned, a bit creaky, a little shabby, but comfortable enough and reassuring. Many of the rooms share showers and toilets, and these are good, cheap options for the budget traveller. But there are also en-suite rooms, and a reasonable size, the shower more than adequate, and clean. My bedroom was...

We had a nice stay at this hotel, very goid located with lots or reasonable restaurants and caffes around. There's a supermarket 5 mins walking distance and a lovely crepperie just in the corner. Just needs to improve security a but more, has cctvs but I feel that anyone could have had access to the rooms fron outside. Lift is...

I stayed here during a work visit and had mixed views. I paid £68 for a single room which did not include breakfast. I had wanted to include the breakfast as advertised but was told it was only served around 8:30 which was too late for me. The man on reception when I arrived was very unfriendly but the lady...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
