The hotel is in a very good location, the stuff is very nice. Breakfast is nice. The room is small but sufficient. In the room there is a small fridge with beverages that you can have for free, and also at the lobby there are snacks everyday from noon till night.
The Hotel George was a cozy and welcoming place to stay for our first family trip to Paris. We had two connecting rooms, which accommodated our family of 4 well. The rooms were a bit smaller than we are used to in the US, but we expected this given the location. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast and afternoon snacks were tasty. The location was great as it was in a nice neighborhood with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The Metro and a bus stop were close by, as well. I would highly recommend this hotel!
This will be my fourth stay in this hotel in the Spring, but ALREADY I am being treated like royalty. I am in communication with the manager Sonia about our upcoming trip and I am again wondering why anyone stays anywhere else. NOTHING is missing here, and my friends who just went to Paris took my advice and stayed at this hotel. They loved it. BRAVO! As for my stay and subsequent Trip Advisor review in September, 2022, I left something very important out of my review so I would like to include it here. Out of sheer curiosity, in September, I had gone to a very famous and 'exclusive' hotel to see what it was all about. I inquired at the hotel about what we would get for the (exorbitant) rates they charge, Of course, I did not explain my visit in that way, in other words, in comparison to other places, but that was my purpose. I wanted to see first hand what I had been explaining to my friends who would be in Paris soon after us, but were not sure if they wanted to stay in a palace-like atmosphere, just to do it, or a 'boutique hotel.' Well, there was no contest. Everything the exclusive venue mentioned that is TRULY necessary for a nice stay could be had at Astotel George. We don't need to dine on chairs that rest on marble floors, or the like, or be charged 25 euros or more for a mere sandwich. We don't need to feel rather detached from the staff; the family -like atmosphere at Astotel George is divine. I could go on and on, but I know I made it clear that Astotel George deserves its continuously high rating.…
We really enjoyed our stay here, especially because of the great location with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel staff was very nice and friendly too. The nearest metro station is just a short walk down the street.
Excellent hotel in the 9th Arr. Rooms were super clean and the air conditioning was a life saver. Comfy beds and pillows. Breakfast was a feast! Such amazing food! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. 2 blocks to the metro station. Lots of restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again.
We came to Paris for my wife's birthday with our 4 children and were booked in an Airbnb. We arrived to find a dirty apartment that smelled of cigarettes and left. We luckily saw the Hotel George and stopped in. Sayoen at the front desk was unbelievably helpful. We had 4 kids that just got off an overnight flight and we were all exhausted. He found us a place to stay in the Lorette just down the road for the night and we were able to come back to the George to spend a few more nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was so helpful and nice. Breakfast was perfect. The location was ideal. Short walk to the metro and montmarte. Iively neighborhood with plenty of restaurants. I would definitely come again.
This hotel is very close to Saint-George metro station, and not too far from Pigalle metro, close to the Montmartre area of Paris (9th arrondissement). Plenty of restaurants near-by, and a supermarket down the road. This was my second stay at this hotel which offers clean rooms, a safe environment and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet offers youghurts, fruit, cheeses, meats and of course baguettes, croissants and other delights typical of France. There is also a small hot buffet with omelette or scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage. Not a huge buffet but plenty of food, especially to be in France. The hotel offers an open bar, coffee, drinks, refreshements and snacks; cakes, biscuits and crisps free of charge every afternoon/ evening. One can also visit the other hotels in the Astotel-chain and take part of their open bar (excellent if you are walking around in Paris and want to sit down and rest or use a clean rest room). Both times I have visited as a single female traveller.…
On arrival we were met with coffee and croissants , a very warm welcome . Staff were very pleasant and gave Recommendations of what to see and where to go. There was a snack bar in reception which was a lovely touch, all free of charge and a wide selection. Room was a bit small but ok for the duration of the trip, very clean and modern , free mini bar which was re-stocked daily ( alcohol not included). Hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner in room. Breakfast varied and delicious ( continental) , the only cooked items were scrambled eggs and like hot dog type sausages. The only negative thing was that the walls were so thin in our room and we were unlucky to have really disrespectful noisy people in the next room so didn’t have a great night sleep for 2 of the nights we stayed, I did try to contact reception but due to the language barrier nothing was really done. Lots of places to eat and drink surrounding the hotel and the Moulin Rouge only a 10 min walk away. Metro 2 min walk down the road. Main sights are easily accessible via metro 1.99 single trip.…
The hotel is awesome, great location, great price! Sam the assistant manger was fantastic showing us the activities. Lovely hotel! 5 start! Highly recommended. I’ll stay here when I comeback to Paris!
We stayed here for 3 nights in October, 2022. The hotel is in a good, convenient location. The double room we had was very small, and there was noise from the room above. Beds were comfortable, breakfasts were very good, and snacks were available in lobby. The elevator was tiny and the wifi weak.
