We stayed here for one week, and had a great stay at this hotel. One of the biggest positives for us was the location - a one minute walk from the Vavin metro station, which led us straight in to the city centre (Île de la Cité, St. Michel and Forum des Halles). The staff were very friendly and helpful...

We enjoyed a two night stay over in Paris before starting our rail travels through France. Arrived via Eurostar into Gard du Nord and an easy Metro trip on line 4 to Vavin which is then a very easy walk to the hotel. Friendly greeting and had already checked in online so very quickly into an upgraded Privilege room on...

Stayed here for 5 nights from 23/7/2016. Easily located from the Port-Royal train station from Charles de Gaulle airport. We were given a nice quiet room as requested on the 7th floor; although small very modern, nicely decorated and clean. Bathroom was very modern with a great shower. Only real issue was lack of storage for clothes; a few more...

This hotel is situated within walking distance of Gare Montparnasse, which makes it great for travelers coming late by train. If you like walking, most of the Paris atteactions can be accessed from here by foot. If not, the hotel is cery close to metro stations, including one that will take you directly to the CDG airport. The rooms are...

The hotel was the base for our week's stay in Paris. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious by Paris standards. The bathroom was well-appointed and again large for a big city. In addition, the staff was friendly-they put up with my rudimentary French with a smile. The buffet breakfast was excellent-fruit, yogurt, hot dishes as well as fresh squeezed...

Stayed for five nights. During this time we asked the staff for lots of help with little things and they were always so polite, helpful and efficient. I would come back here for sure. Room was clean and quiet. Didn't try the restaurant or breakfast as there are many other options just next door.

Good location just off boulevard Montparnasse . Close to two metro stations with good access to the center of town. And you are close enough to walk into the center via jardin du Luxembourg which is 10 minutes away.Hotel is clean and modern but no real public areas and my single room was very small but functional. So it's fine...

Excellent location close to Avenue de Montparnasse. The hotel is hosted in a refurbished old building; it has just one elevator for 6 or 7 floors and the common areas are quite limited (reception desk is substituted by a reception "table"; corridors leading to rooms are narrow and meandering). My room was rather small and looking to nowhere but modern...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
