I have stayed at the Langlois several times now over the last 13 years. Very "French" hotel in a good location near Gare St Lazare (which is very handy as we normally base ourselves with friends in Vernon). I'd recommend getting a suite which is very good value. Easy walk to Montmartre, Sacre Coeur etc

We really enjoyed our 2 day stat at this charming little hotel. The age of it only added to its charming quality. We ended up getting the suite after being upgraded from a twin room. Though both rooms were very clean with nice AC, heating, fast wifi and good TV, the suite's fireplace, balcony and street view made it quaint... More

Was supposed to stay for five nights but cut my losses early. I was assigned a room on the sixth floor. Elevator cage barely held two people and their suitcases. Very scary and slow. Room was a total throwback. Very old and quaint but not very workable from a Business standpoint. No desk. No place to work. Tiny table in... More

So much character. The hotel is lovely and in a great location just down the street from a Metro station. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the furnishings were unique with an art deco feel. You know when staying here that you couldn't be anywhere else other than Paris. A fantastic value with large rooms and so much character,... More

This is remodeled beau epoch hotel that retains a lot of its traditional decor. The rooms are not too small by Parisian standards and they are beautiful and cozy. The price is very reasonable for Paris (at a discounted price, I paid only about 95 euros). The breakfast was pricey at 13 euros but it is excellent. The jams and... More

They’ve gone out of their way to try to preserve that Second Empire-Beaux Arts feel. Fireplaces, alabaster busts on the mantelpiece, the paintings. I’m sure I’ve seen the cage elevator in an old movie. Good sized rooms, passed the two-suitcase test with flying colours. Huge and comfortable bed.The air conditioning was welcome on a day when Paris was 33⁰C and... More

Rooms are so Art Nouveau and pretty. Ours had a fireplace and a nice bathroom! The location is great! The service is really good, and the breakfast buffet is amazing! They have lots of mini croissants, fresh baked bread, fruit, cereal, and meat.

Very good hotell! Pretty room, good bed, nice staff. BUT the breakfast was not included... and it was not worth extra 15 euro. For 15 you can go outside to eat, i recommand that! Was easy to find the hotell and it was near everything in the center. You can walk around 20 min to the Louvre and then around... More

Stayed here exactly 2 years ago and on my return the month found the same charm, quality and friendliness.Rooms are large by Paris standards, showers are hot and have large shower heads. Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
