Love his place! The rooms are small like the last hotel I stayed at, but very comfortable and serves its purpose as place to sleep so I can enjoy most of my time around Paris! Another plus about his hotel is the location! It's just about. 20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower so you can enjoy it at night...

Nice part of Paris but away from the centre. A short walk to metro stations, but easy to get to the tourist attractions. Contemporary and charming with a few bakeries, restaurants nearby to explore to get away from the crowds. Air conditioning was a saviour when the temperature got above 30C! I'd stay there again.

I spent 4 nights at the Saint Charles and exept for one night when I couldn't sleep because of noisy neighbors who were partying and smoking in a non smoking room next door, I was able to rest and enjoy my room. It's small, not unusual in Paris but it has everything , including a coffee pot and fridge. My...

Stayed at this hotel as it was nearby an essential transport link hub that I needed for work. On arrival at hotel, the receptionist was very helpful. However on entering the room, it had not been cleaned from the previous residents. I headed back down to reception and was given another room, which was a lot nicer. The hotel room...

The hotel is very well located at just 5min walk from the Corvisart M6 station, which in turn is just one stop from Place d'Italie or two stops from Denfert Rochereau. There are plenty of very good bistrot and restaurants near by at walking distance too. The hotel looks like freshly renovated and my room on 2nd floor was extremely...

A lovely boutique hotel which formed an excellent base from which to explore Paris. We want in January. The weather was cold but the welcome was warm. Lovely room, excellent staff, convenient location 5 minutes walk from the river and therefore easy to get around. Very helpful concierge and a complimentary glass of champagne. Made for a perfect visit!

During my last trip to Paris, in June 2014, I stayed at Saint Charles for one night. Even though there are not so many typical Parisian attractions close from here, the neighborhood is very quiet. There are a couple of bars steps away from here and two metro stations are five minutes away (Corvisart Place d'Italie). Rooms are a little...

A Lovely hotel in a quiet , safe neighbourhood. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Value for money cannot be beaten. Metro close by and Bus also. Take Bus route 21 which picks up close by. If flying into CDG take RERB into Paris

The property is excellent and is located at a 5 min walking distance from Place D'Italie metro station which has all the important lines passing through it. So connectivity to central Paris is not a problem and you can reach anywhere in 20 mins. The rooms are a bit small but manageable. The room that I got had a glass...

Staying in Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique

Neighbourhood Profile
Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique
Far off the beaten path, this part of Paris is a forgotten gem worth exploring. Avenue d’Ivry houses Europe's largest Chinatown with great Asian supermarkets and shops, and a thrilling atmosphere around Chinese New Year. Place d’Italie impresses onlookers as soon as they set their eyes on it. Not far, around La Butte aux Cailles, the streets suddenly imitate provincial France and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported. The beauty of these streets lies in their surprises around every twist and turn.

“To the right of the hotel door as you exit, is a cute little cafe/restaurant but I forget the name. Great food and great service. It is on the same side as the hotel 100 meters to the right at the corner. A great bakery across the street of the cafe!!”
