Is Gare du Nord walkable for kids? I will be traveling next week with 3 of my children. My younger two children are ages 10 and 12, and they will have to roll their own luggage bags and small crossbody bags. Do you think they could handle the walk? Also, what are some landmarks so that I’ll know we are going in the right direction from the train station? Thanks!
Hello my wife and I didn't find any issues with it really. It's about 10 minutes probably a bit longer with the kids. I'd recommend doing a quick google maps directions that's what we did (I would do it for you but trip advisor won't let put in a link). It's really the Rue De Maubeuge you get on and walk all the way down. You come out of the main exit/entrance turn right go towards Boulevard de Magenta cross Boulevard de Magenta and go on to Rue De Maubeuge the hotel is on this road just a good way down. We felt like we were there in no time.

What time is check in? Our flight should land around 10am & we are only traveling with hand luggage (cabin size suit cases), therefore we wondered if there was anywhere to store these, should we not be able to check in on arrival.
Check in is normal about 2pm but you can leave your luggage there it is very safe. I was swapping Motels so I took the opportunity to see how far the Nord Railway station was from the Motel as my train left at 7.30am in the morning. The staff are very helpful and will give you a map and any information you need. There is free coffee tea & colds drinks free also nibbles in reception, as well, if you just want to sit there and wait.

Hi! Will the triple rooms have balconies also? Thanks!
Dear jclaramae, Unfotunately, the hotel Palm only has one triple room (1 double bed + 1 single bed). The room is located on the ground floor and therefore, there is no balcony. Kind regards,

"Rooms facing the street have a nice view and aren't too loud (The windows are upgraded dual pane so they block the street sounds very well)"
"Good luck with your stay, hope you wont get stuck inside the elevator lift even if there is no power outage!!!!"
