Detailed Reviews
The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect with metro stations for 3 different lines within 5 minutes walk and delicious bakeries just around the corner!
I booked this hotel as I was arriving in Gare du Nord and leaving from Gare de l'Est and this hotel is right on the metro line which run directly to both. It did not disappoint. An affordable option especially with their solo rooms, I was very lucky to be given room 41 (a double room) which had ample space, a window overlooking the front street, aircon/heating, a mini fridge and a good safe. The room was nicely appointed with modern decor, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryer. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot with great water pressure. As my room overlooked the street there was some noise that travelled up when the window was open, but when shut it was virtually gone. The staff were all very friendly and efficient.
Overall I had a lovely stay in this hotel. It is a little further from the major tourist attractions than some, but there is very easy access to metro lines running directly to them (or if you're keen like me you can do a nice walk over to them).

Nice little hotel. The rooms are on the cramped side (would have been perfect for a solo traveler, but for two, we were always in each other’s way), but they were well decorated and very clean. I also appreciated that we had multiple windows that could be opened as the air conditioner had been shut off for the fall, and the rooms would have been quite stuffy without them! The location is great. The neighborhood has many great cafes, restaurants and bars, as well as a market that opens up in the green belt across the street on Thursdays and Sundays. There are also multiple metro stops within a 5-7 minute walk, including one that’s only about 2 minutes away. If all you’re needing is a place to sleep while exploring Paris, this place makes a good base and offers a wonderful value for your money.

Location was fantastic—just a few minutes from Place de la Bastille and all the restaurants and nightlife. Easy access to metro (closest is just across the street, but a 5-10 minute walk away is a larger stop with multiple lines). Free WiFi made contacting home, checking email, etc a breeze. Room was comfy—nothing big, but our bed was big and great. We slept well. Front seat staff spoke English and was so kind (especially with our attempts at French). We found this hotel on hotels.com and got an amazing rate—I would have definitely expected to pay more. Highly recommend just keep in mind this is a European hotel and not a big American one with grand lobbies and huge rooms. But I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door from the street—I didn’t know what to expect but as soon as I walked it I knew it was going to be a good stay.

My family and I stayed for three nights at The Hotel Marais Bastille and found it an ideal small and friendly place to stay, perfectly located(right near metro station the entrance to which is situated in the area where there is a daily market right opposite the hotel, or there is one about 10 min walk away next to the Opera), close to Le Marias neighbourhood and within a short walk to grocery stores, coffee shops and artisan bakeries(only open M-F). The room is small, dark and a bit cramped for what we paid, but clean and with everything we needed including a fridge. We aksed for a room on the inside of the hotel to minimize any noise from the street. Not sure if all rooms are noise free but ours was. We purchased breakfast which was very nice, although it's the same offering daily. When we wanted to relax at night, there were only 2 English TV stations, primarily the news. The reception staff helped us with directions and answered all our questions.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very kind and helpful and spoke great english. The room was a little small, but it used the space well and we did not feel cramped especially when we had the window open. The shower was excellent (hot water and great pressure). The bed was a true queen size, a little firm but still comfortable. The AC worked great and was very nice to have since it was warm on the days we were there. On the 5th floor, we could hardly hear any noise from the street. The location was the real upside. We were walking distance from dozens of excellent restaurants and wine bars, as well as the metro which was very convenient and easy to use. We even walked from the train station (which took about 23 minutes but saved us a cab ride). Overall we had an excellent stay and would definitely recommend.

The hotel has some lovely touches, including filtered water and ear plugs in the room. The continental breakfast selection is nice. The room and bed were comfortable, with everything we needed for a short stay. There was a small gift in the room when we arrived. The location is good, and very close to a metro station. The reception staff speak English which was very helpful for us.
The only confusion was that we thought we prepaid the room, however the full amount wasn’t taken so we had to pay ~60 on arrival. This didn’t impact the stay, but seems a strange way to do it.

The location of this property suits us very well as we do not like to be too close to the hustle and bustle of the city center yet it is still close enough to bars, cafes, restaurants, and small shops that we can enjoy our stay. There is also a laundromat (Washour Laverie) just nearby to the hotel. Access to bus stops, Metros are within 3-10mins walking distance.

The service was excellent, everything was clean and well-maintained. The room I had (6th floor) was accesible via stairs and elevator. The room was very silent and didn't got bothered by muffled sounds from elsewhere in the hotel, although I'm sensitive for it. I had view over the city and could see the eiffeltower and the monument of Place de la Bastille via the little balcony attached to my room. The hotel is well placed in Paris. You can discover the city by bike rental around the corner at Place de la Bastille or take the Metro (walking 3 mins). The streets felt quite safe and lots of grocery stores and cozy cafes, boulangeries are accesible in the direct surroundings. The staff was friendly and delivered an excelent service, parfait!

Yes, there is all the basic stuff you need… including those you asked about.
There is a company called "Paris shuttle" who pick up from the airport but they might also be prepared to transport you to Gare Dr Nord.
I took the metro. At Gare Du Nord you will change trains and then get off at either Sabin-Bregut or Place de la Bastille
Yes, it does.
Bonjour,
From Orly Airport :
Take Orlyval till Antony station. Take RER line B till Gare du Nord station. Change to line 5 of the metro and get off at Breguet-Sabin
or
Take bus "Car Air France" line 1 till Etoile. Change for metro line 1 and get off at Bastille station.
We stay at your disposal
