I stayed at Etoile for 3 nights as a solo female traveler. At first I was a bit concerned because of the shady elevator and the semi dark halls. But don't be fooled, rooms are exactly as they are shown on the photos. A bit small but everything is neat, the bathroom is supper clean and provides essentials, bed for...

I stayed at the hotel from october 21 till october 28th, what I really appreciate Is the hotel reservation staff, Nabil, Adel & Samir were so helpful, my credit card was declined when I tried booking several times from Egypt and they promised me they will keep the booking until we arrive and pay cash or via visa. The hotel...

I was visiting Paris for business and I stayed in this hotel for 3 days. The stuff is friendly and speaks English while the rooms are clean with basic necessities. The breakfast for its price (extra 9 euros per day) was a bit disappointed. The biggest advantage I would say it is the location as the hotel is situated less...

We stayed here 2 nights and did accommodate for our stay, although very small. Facilities were clean and staff were friendly. Elevators are present but can only fit one person with luggage and in order to access them you need to climb a few flight of stairs for every level which was quite inconvenient with big luggage. We were granted...

This hotel is ultimately nothing special but at the same time you can't go wrong. It's 10mins walk from 2 subway lines and a 10 min walk from the Arc de Triomphe so location is key. The rooms are small and simple but they are fresh and modern rather than dingy and old. There is an (overpriced) breakfast available in...

My fiancé and I stayed here on our first trip to Paris. We picked this hotel because it was located within walking distance of the Arc d'Triumph and the Eiffel Tower. This place does have an elevator, which was nice because we stayed on the top floor (5th). The bathroom was recently updated and very clean. Overall the rooms very...

I must admit, I was not overly impressed with the room when I first walked in but it was very clean and surprisingly the bed was very comfortable. I slept really well until there was movement in the hotel, you can hear everything both up and down as. I was only here for one night and it was ok for...

Stayed 1 night at this hotel on a business trip. Rooms and bathrooms are super-small, but fresh. Staff at the reception is extremely friendly. Good ration quality-price, excellent location, will stay again.

We stayed for one night, and it was horrible. I could not wait to get up in the morning (for the little sleep I could get to leave). The room is very small, but that is not the problem. The main issue is the noise from other rooms, people constantly opening and shutting rooms in the middle of the night....

Me and my friend decided to make a spontaneous trip to Paris. We were looking for a hotel who has a good location but not so expensive. We made our booking via bookings.com and received the confirmation via e-mail. Upon our arrival, the front desk clerk said he has no reservation under my name. WHAT? according to him, bookings didn't...

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
