The Hotel is situated in the heart of Paris, and is in the middle of at least two Metro stations. I remember one metro station (hotel de Ville). I can't remember the name of the other station, we only used it as an exit from the airport. Do not pay for taxi's , trains trains all the way. Notre Dame...

hotel meet expectations the air con worked well on a 38 degree day. the hotel is well located and the wifi worked well. rooms are a little aged and small but I guess that is typical of Paris accommodation. the only real critism was that the glass shower screen was inadequate in stopping the shower spray so that most things...

Me and my partner are just back from a fantastic 3 night stay at the Hotel Paris Rivoli. We were looking for a hotel not far from the centre of Paris for easy-access to the main tourist attractions, and this hotel did not fault in our needs. We stayed in a 2nd floor room with a balcony overlooking the Rue...

For a base from which to see the sights of Paris, this is an excellent choice. RIght on the main street, down the road from the Lourvre, very French, happy and helpful staff. Clean and comfy rooms, what more can you ask? Planning a return visit shortly.

We booked two rooms for four nights in May. Our college-aged kids were in one and my husband and I were in another room. Their room faced the Rue de Rivoli and had a balcony. Ours was quieter in the back with no balcony. First off, the rooms are really small. It is not unexpected for a big, expensive city...

What a perfect choice of hotel for us. This was the last stop on a European city tour and needed something convenient for us. This hotel was great as a home base. Not fancy, very comfortable, and non-discript. Service at the desk was very helpful. Small rooms, decent bathroom. Only wish the room has better lighting. Ofen times it was...

I have fallen into the Paris hotel traps more than once, but this one was actually very much worth the money. In addition it is a very central location - 10 min on foot to Ile St Louis - one of my favourites in Paris, as well as close to Marais. One extra tip is to go for breakfast at...

As a 79 year-old Australian woman travelling alone I was pleased with this small hotel which provided the comfort and convenience I required at reasonable cost. I enjoyed relaxing baths in the spacious bathroom after long walks in the interesting neighbourhood and further afield. There was even enough room in the bathroom for my open suitcase! Paris Rivoli is close...

The hotel is a three star hotel in Paris -the city with a reputation for small rooms. Well my last stay in a 4* hotel in London had a much smaller room and bathroom. In the Paris Rivoli you can very comfortably move around the room. The room had all the normal furniture as well as a small flat screen...

I bring groups to Paris every January and we always stay at the Paris Rivoli. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the continental breakfast quite adequate. The location is ideal: on the edge of the Marais and within easy walking distance of Notre Dame. The Metro station (St. Paul) is just a block away....

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
