This hotel is ideally located near department stores, the Saint-Lazare train station, the Edouard VII theater and therefore, as its name suggests, the Garnier opera house.
It has, and this is unique in the Astotel group's offering, a spa with a magnificent swimming pool, a fairly large Sauna and Hammam which constitute real added value for the hotel.
Messi, Paul, Magalie and Anthony were all very kind, professional and attentive at reception. A special thank you to Anthony for his visit to the spa area.
The staff in the dining room and in the rooms upstairs were also very friendly, especially since we hung around a bit in the room and at breakfast.
We also thank Sylvie for her great kindness.
As for the hotel, the decoration is magnificent, very tasteful, and gives the whole thing a personal touch, a warm and pleasant home-like feel.
The sofas and armchairs are very comfortable.
We really enjoyed the alcove area at the bar.
The breakfast is excellent, particularly generous with lots of choice.
We had a room on the 7th floor dedicated to the star dancer Marie-Agnès Gillot, very nicely decorated, personalized by the dancer and very well equipped, with a lot of storage, an efficient shower system, a coffee machine and a kettle, a automatic air conditioning with very efficient touch screen. The WiFi connection is exceptionally fast. We had a smart TV compatible with Chrome cast and I believe Apple air play which gives access to a very varied choice of channels and applications.
In addition we had access to all the group's open bars with the astotour,
It was very good .
A real favorite !

Hotel very well located close to everything on foot. Newly renovated open 12/2023. Bright modern rooms.
Lounge and breakfast room, with modern and neat decoration, is very spacious (very rare in Paris) so breakfast can be enjoyed at ease without disturbing the neighbor.
Very kind staff. We will definitely return and why not try the spa which was not open during our stay…

I highly recommend ! The hotel is very well located in Paris, close to the Opera, the Galeries Lafayette and Place Vendôme.
The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Always attentive and very caring.
The facilities are of impeccable quality, I particularly liked the SPA, which is really very well equipped.
The room was perfectly soundproofed, the facilities are new and perfect, I appreciated the fact that USB sockets are located in the immediate vicinity of the bed, the very modern shower as well as the coffee machine.
Regarding breakfast, the hotel clearly does not neglect the quality of the food! Visitors will particularly appreciate the fresh baguettes and pastries as well as the bean-to-cup coffee machines.
In one sentence: a perfect stay!

This hotel is on a safe, small side street and has excellent noise insulation to the outside. We stayed in a superior connecting room (with swing - nice touch!) which was spacious with huge beds.
We also had a double room in addition. This was pleasant enough.
Reception staff are very pleasant.
Huge tv with large choice of channels.
Galimard bath products high smell lovely.
New bathrooms which were very clean
Excellent air conditioning which works and is super quiet.
Separate toilet (very small and a bit claustrophobic)
All in all a great choice for location, value, quiet and size of superior rooms (large by Paris standards).
Some points
- Lots of attention to detail in the room with brushed gold light switches and sockets. But then old silver handles on the bathroom doors which just clash! Not a big issue at all but it’s as if lots of thought was put into some of the design but then not into others. The circus theme decor is not to my taste, and doesn’t go with the lovely blush and gold wallpaper in the bathroom. That’s obviously just personal taste though, it has been nicely finished.
- Very generous with the minibar in room, which includes plastic Evian bottles, glass juice bottles and cans. Nowhere to separate this recycling in the bedroom - there is just one small bin under the desk where it is then mixed with all your other trash….so do they comb through it all by hand?! Or maybe not! Refillable free water would be much more eco friendly.
- Similarly in the bathroom there are large hand soap and body wash, but small plastic throwaway bottles of conditioner and shower gel.
- Corridors felt a little cramped.
- There were flies on the cakes at the free snacks during the afternoon - they are not covered, and really should be.

- Location - The location is excellent, located very close to the Opera Garnier and the elegant galleries of luxury brands such as Lafayette and Printemps. In addition, you can walk to many popular attractions such as the Louvre, D'Orsay and the Eiffel Tower in about 30 minutes. For more distant locations, subway access is convenient, with a short walk. Nearby, there are a variety of restaurants and a small Carrefour City supermarket.
- Service - The staff is excellent, with friendly employees always ready to help. I highlight the exceptional work of Anthony, Massi and Ivan, who were extremely helpful during my stay.
- Cleaning / Storage - Immaculate. The room was always perfectly clean, with well-groomed beds and towels changed regularly.
- Very good. Considering the central location in Paris, the triple room in which I stayed was well designed to comfortably accommodate three people (including a child), with smart use of furniture and accessories provided. A highlight is the refrigerator refuelled daily with free water, juice and soda. The room also offers a good selection of TV channels, a safe and all the amenities expected from a high standard hotel.
- General environment - Excellent. The reception is spacious, with a simple and stylish decor, two lifts, a swimming pool and a dedicated breakfast area (available for an extra charge).
- Abstract - This hotel offers an excellent cost-effectiveness and I recommend without hesitation.

Newly renovated hotel with great amenities and service in a great, safe neighborhood off a relatively quiet street. The elevator is big enough for guests and luggage.
The room was thoughtfully designed with power switches and usb and c chargers on each side. The window had blackout curtains and opened up to a quiet courtyard. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The bathroom was cozy but laid out well and had a fan that quietly runs constantly which keeps the mirror from fogging after the shower.
The lobby and dining area are nice and would be great for groups or families to relax together outside of their rooms. We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel but the evening snack bar was nice.

My family of 5 stayed at the Hotel Astra Opera in 2 connecting rooms. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious for a city hotel. Each room had its own temperature control and exceptional lighting. Not only were we welcomed with a bottle a champagne, the rooms also had a small mini bar with some complimentary drinks. But my kids' favorite part was that they have complimentary hotel snacks from 2pm-2am! We were told that the hotel was part of a network of hotels that we could use for the same snacks across Paris but we didn't utilize this perk. We were also so busy during our stays that we didn't have time to check out the pool.
The front desk was very helpful and kind as well.
This hotel is in a great location, about a 25 min walk to the Louvre but there are also metro and RER stations very close by which we used as well.

Our family of four (kids are 10 and 12 yo) had the most wonderful stay in the "family room" in a very conveniently located Hotel Astra Opera. The entire staff were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay memorable and comfortable. The rooms were very clean. The large, high quality towels, robes, and slippers were an added bonus. Everyone in the family slept really well. The US-sized King bed for us and an extra big king sized bed (two large twins) made the kids stay out of each other's way. They replenished our free mini bar ever day and the breakfast and afternoon snacks were essential and delicious. We can't thank them enough and we will definitely return.

The hotel was recently remodeled, and everything was pristine and clean. The theme of the hotel is based on for notable French individuals, one of which was an actor, one of which was an astronaut, and the other two I can’t remember. The room we had was the theme room of the actor and it was beautiful.
Did not opt for the breakfast for an additional fee, however, I did browse the buffet line and it appeared that they had a comprehensive selection of Continental breakfast, scrambled eggs, bangers, bacon, pastries, charcuterie, etc.
This hotel is located in the opera district, so it was very convenient and close to a lot of cafés and restaurants. We took advantage of the metro subway so we were able to see most of the major sites in Paris during our short three day stay.
It should be noted that we had no plans on traveling to Paris, we booked this hotel at the last minute after spending a week in London and decided to take the Eurostar train down to Paris and we were fortunate and off and lucky enough to be a book, a room at this fine hotel.

All excellent. From the rooms (spacious, large and comfortable beds, high quality bath products) and the common areas (heated pool and spa area with free drinks service, gym, seating and dining area), to the breakfast (varied and with long hours), not forgetting the reception staff, very friendly and attentive and with great willingness to help, and the location, next to the Opera House and with very good communications to all the points of interest of Paris.
As highlights, the permanent coffee and tea service and snacks (spices, pastas and fruits) freely available to guests from 2 pm to 2 am. In addition, they allow guests to consume their food and drink (there is a Carrefour with meals prepared on the same street) in the dining room and living area.
All in all, great!
