Staff: very nice. Room: such a surprise, there was enough space for put down two pieces of suitcase on the floor. And room was clean. Location: yes, the hotel is located just direct to the rail tracks of Gare de l'Est. Actually, I have requested...More
When booking, requested a quiet room as I'd read the reviews about those rooms overlooking the train-lines, and on a previous stay had stayed overlooking the nice quiet court-yard. Unfortunately, after working 5 years in the tourism industry, I'm fully aware a request is simply...More
Not much to say, we've been there end of January 2011.
Its about 5min walk from Gare du Nord.
Room was adequate size, clean and bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast was very nice, i loved the pancakes.. :)
Staff were very nice, no problems.

No, not even a kettle. The tea making facilities are in reception. There are only plastic cups, so we bought mugs to use. We also bought our own breakfast from a local supermarket - we were told by other guests that the hotel breakfast was sparse and not worth the ten euros they paid for it. I took my own coffee and tea too, and we bought a carton of milk. The coffee and tea in reception is of very poor quality.
