Tryp Hotel in Paris is a great value! It is close to Metro lines entrance, great restaurants, and a nice small market street named Rue Montorgueil, which has some very nice bakeries! We enjoyed our five day stay at Tryp and would stay there again. Nord Gare train station is not too far away, take a taxi to Tryp from...

Location is very good. Metro station just in front of the hotels door. Rooms are small but it is very common in paris city center. Rooms are clean and price is ok. I stay 2 times i will definitely stay again. Their price is very good. And metro station is just 1 mt away.

I love the position of this hotel - if you like to walk, it's a walking distance from many places and very close to Montmartre and Gare du Nord. We had a simple double room (I would have liked to pay for an upgrade, but nowhere on the Melia website you could clearly understand what was better in that "higher...

Very well situated. Metro in front of hotel. Good service and excellent breakfast. Concierge helpful for city information. Rooms small but quiet. I would return as the Hotel is central and choice of restaurants close by.

Just returned from 3 nights stay here. Husband booked for our anniversary trip to Paris and the hotel was perfect for us. Location is great, we walked to most places and there was a metro right outside the door aswell. The room was small and we were at the back with no view whatsoever but this didn't bother us as...

We've stayed here twice, once in 2011, and once in 2016. Great service both times, clean, great location. I'm hesitant to tell people about it as I feel like it's my secret spot... don't want too many people to know about it :)

Great experience, lifts very small but usual for Paris. Centrally located which was good for walking but found maps provided were very busy with so much detail it was difficult to follow. Plenty of eating establishments close at hand.

Well situated for exploring Paris, metro outside the hotel door. The hotel is comfortable and reasonably priced and the staff very courteous and helpful. I have stayed here at least 4 times and will no doubt return again.

Having stayed here multiple times in the past, I am never quite sure what draws me back. Certainly, it is competitively priced, but at best, it is functional and fairly charmless. Rooms are small and relatively spartan, but that said, the bed is perfectly comfortable with linen of a decent quality. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
