First of all, most of the staff ive dealt with was really friendly and helpful, rooms are really nice but its the noise! I was probably on the wrong side of the hotel as I was looking on the street and all night long I could hear traffic with cars bipping their horns and tramways and trains when they were...

Not well located for tourism purposes. Service in front desk was very regular and even indifferent sometimes. Clean rooms but quite small and kind of old. The shower in my room was broken. Parking is far.

Room was small but clean and nice; facilities were basic but attractive and maintained; breakfast was a highlight with a number of options. This is not a destination neighborhood, but we stayed here, faced with oppressive prices for other Paris hotels. For that motive it was a great value! Very close to a metro stop which provides transport to anywhere...

... This was fine for a standard, budget hotel. I've stayed in hotels that were more central in Paris that were much worse than this - they were over-priced and shabby. Our room was small but neat. The twin beds on castors were a nuisance and as a Brit, I'd have preferred tea and coffee-making facilities but I didn't mind...

This hotel is in a neighborhood that is up and coming but still a bit marginal. The park it sits on is great but the rest of the neighborhood including the metro stop felt a bit unsafe at night. There were some good restaurants across the street but all of the main Paris attractions are quite a distance from the...

I really dislike writing a bad review and therefore I will just describe what I found dissatisfying and why Twin Room for two adults sharing: far too small for two adults to share, one could only move around the room when the other was in the bathroom (which was nice) Single bed: far too small, it was the size of...

The Hotel is in the 19 e region of Paris away from central tourist attractions. Though not central, the metro station is 50 meters from the hotel and central Paris is 10 minutes away. N.B. Buy a bundle of 10 tickets which is cheaper at 14.10 euros, which covers all modes of transport. The room is small, though clean. No...

Staying in La Villette

Neighbourhood Profile
La Villette
This futuristic landscape has come to define the northeast of Paris. The Saint-Denis canal is framed with luscious lawns and metallic buildings over a wide-open space. Home to Europe's largest science museum, this area rewards daytime and nighttime explorations; there are three concert spaces, plus cinemas and bars, and even open-air cinema in the summer. The surrounding homes are a sharp contrast to the futuristic space. Though on the outskirts of Paris, La Villette is worth the short Metro ride from the centre.
