My wife and I stayed there for 4 days during August 2010 (during our honeymoon). The place is cozy, clean and great value. And is located in an excellent spot. We will be back for sure!

As others have experienced, we arrived at the Golden Tulip Hotel to be told that there was a problem with our reservation and we were to be transferred to another hotel. The manager said we would be upgraded and sent to a lovely hotel because it was their mistake. Our paid reservation was for a Jr. Suite. We were taken...

Having read the negative reviews, and booked blinded through a travel site, we were seriously worried when arriving at the hotel. We had two rooms, a double and a triple. The triple wasn't quite ready for us (only two singles), when we arrived. After a couple of mishaps - keys that didn't work, given keys to another room that already...

This hotel located on Rue de Richlieu is close to the Louvre and Isle de Citie, etc. The staff were polite and friendly. No room service and didn't expect it. This is, after all, a European hotel. Don't ask for facecloths.. for some reason, the front desk clerk thought that my request was inappropriate. I checked my dictionary for the...

My girlfriend and I booked a trip and planned a week long stay at this hotel. I was fortunate enough to stumble across this page and was astonished at the negative reviews and reported business practices at this hotel. And not only recently, but apparently as far back as 2005. I immediately canceled our reservation upon finding this information and...

Yet another example of a confirmed booking being told there was no room for us. Relocated to another part of Paris resulting in Euro 30 taxi fares to get back to where we wanted to be. Why would anyone book a hotel with an ongoing track record of having double-sold your room? You wouldn't. The hotel was booked via Secret...

As we were only staying a single night in Paris, we booked because of its proximity to the places we wished to visit and the restaurant we had booked. We read the reviews detailing how many visitors had turned up only to be told that "there was difficulty with the booking" and dismissed these as unfortunate. When we turned up...

Loved this Hotel location walking distance to most tourist attractions. The rooms were very clean. Cute blue & white room with exposed beam ceiling. Staff friendly. Good breakfast. Will return. Should be listed as 3-3.5 Star

Great location near Louvre & Opera district. Our room overlooked the Palace Theatre and a typical Parisian street with coffee shop, bar & restaurant which was frequented by locals. The Front Desk staff were very helpful. They speak English and also seem to really appreciate you trying to speak a little French. There is no gym however you have plenty...

A horrible experience -- avoid at all costs!!! I arrived and was told that there were no rooms because they needed emergency repairs and that I'd be taken care of at another equivalent quality hotel. After schlepping on foot across town, I found they'd sent me to a fleabag hotel where my room was a closet next to the manager's...
